Yunkong Temple is located at the northern foot of Yunkong Mountain, six kilometers southwest of Daming Township Government in Hua County. Legend has it that it was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and its old name went to Ji Temple. With regard to the names of Yunkong Mountain and Yunkong Temple, when talking about Master Pugan in the 27th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (AD 1688), Master Pugan changed Ji Yun Temple to Yunkong Temple in order to respect this famous and highly regarded Zen master.

Yunkong Buddhist Temple, a large-scale Buddhist temple in Ming and Qing Dynasties, is more than a thousand meters deep from east to west, covering an area of 30 mu. Buddhist temples are full of incense and excitement, and declined in the late Qing Dynasty. At present, there are only three main halls in the temple, one for Sakyamuni and the other for Manjushri Pu Xian. There are six corridors for monks to eat and live in the right front of Daxiong Hall, and there is a wooden pavilion-like Song Pagoda at the southern end of the Buddhist temple, which is accompanied by Bagan Pagoda in the south. Legend has it that Master Bagan was the fourth prince of Emperor Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. After the demise of the Qing Dynasty, the whole family was devastated, and he was the only one who survived, so he sneaked into Buddhism and traveled here to cultivate his morality. Because he swore that he would never be a minister and never touch the ground after his death, his disciples chose a feng shui cemetery according to Master's wishes, and hung his coffin in a carefully built tomb with iron ropes, without any soil around it. Finally, just close the tomb door, seal it and prepare for burial.

Sincere disciples went to the Western Heaven to become Buddhas for the sake of Master's spiritual practice, so they went to the grave to chant Buddhist scriptures on time every day. In this way, after a long time, the tomb door has become an important place for future generations of devout believers or tourists from all over the world to worship and visit the hanging coffin. It is no wonder that the words of the people of Huaxian County have been circulated for a long time.
