I like cars, painting and photography. Especially when you use a series of light and shadow arrangements to get the effect that it is difficult to shoot a real car, it feels even better!

Let's talk about car models first. I used two original QX50 car models for this shoot. One was bought by myself and the other was given by a friend. My own car is also a QX50, both of which are 18 models. Now the latest QX50 is the 2020 model. Compared with 18 models, there are only two differences in appearance: 1 and 20 models have a new color scheme called Xing Yan brown; 2.20 There is no fog light under the front bumper.

I picked it from official website. Feel it. This color is still very textured, but so far, I have never seen a real car.

Dark tones can best set off the beauty of QX50, and the streamline and tough lines of the car body are undoubtedly revealed. In fact, the design of Nissan family is very distinctive, such as GTR cutting the back butt like steamed bread, such as the exaggerated curved surface of early FX, and the avant-garde design of leaf concept car. Compared with other sister models, the QX50 is really convergent and low-key.

The front, waistline and D-pillar should be the most prominent design features of QX50.

Unlike most cars, the waistline on the side of QX50 only highlights a ridgeline, but has a slightly broken line like a ridgeline. This design is quite rare, because it should be quite difficult to realize from the manufacturing process. Therefore, the attitude of most automobile manufacturers to waistline design is not to make trouble for themselves, as long as there is.

In the sheet metal parts of the car, the shape of this broken line is more troublesome. On the one hand, in the process of stamping, this corner is prone to defects, on the other hand, this kind of thing is not easy to paint, because the position of that edge is easy to accumulate paint. So from this perspective, Fei Ying is quite powerful.

The VC-Turbo black technology of QX50 can be regarded as a fruit in the Anglo-Philippine technology tree. Honda VTEC, Mazda Chuangchi Blue Sky, Subaru Hengmian and Infineon VC-Turbo are all tough guys in the engine industry. The courage of these four brands to think and do is also admirable.

It is said that QX50 is not small, so be careful when parking in the basement. It's not that I'm worried about not stopping. After all, it is convenient to have a 360-degree image. What I'm really worried about is being too close to the side car and being accidentally injured.

The QX50 also has a bright strip running through the middle of the rear, echoing the front face. Double exhaust pipes are very comfortable to look at and use.

Spacious trunk space. In the real car, the rear row can be laid down in equal proportion, and the model did not dare to use force. In fact, the space of QX50 is still enough.

Let's talk about shooting again. Let's talk about equipment first. Not so foreign. An old Nikon (D7000) six years ago, a 50 1.8 civil large aperture fixed-focus lens, two domestic flashlights, a tripod, and two domestic flashers with different brands, that's all. As for the color light and shadow in the picture, it is actually made by sticking colored paper on the flash, and there is no advanced post-production and NB equipment.

The function of the flasher is to control the external flash with the camera. The advantage is that we can design the position of the flash at will to create a light and shadow effect. As for these two flashlights, the small one has more than 300 flashlights, equipped with two No.5 batteries, which can automatically measure light (supporting TTL). The disadvantage is that the GN value seems to be only over 30, which is relatively weak. The big one is more than one hundred, and it is equipped with four No.5 batteries, so it can't measure light automatically.

A simple light, a simple scene, a light at the front of the car and a light at the side of the car. By matching the light intensity of the two lights, this effect can basically be taken.

So, on this basis, if we go further.

Stick a piece of red paper on the lamp holder, then use this paper to hit the background wall behind the car, and then use another lamp to fill the car with white light, which can basically achieve this effect.

Further increase the intensity output of the background red light, and then adjust the illumination angle of the white light at the front of the car (a piece of white A4 paper is blocked in front of the lamp holder), which can make the white of the car body brighter. At the same time, the structural details of QX50 can be displayed more clearly.

Adjust the position of the red light to the top, then use another white light to make up a little light, and then simply adjust the white light to blue and purple in the later period of PS, and the effect of the above picture will come out. Sexy cover, sexy cover.

Next, we put blue and red pieces of paper on the two flashing lights, and polish the QX50 model from two directions. You can capture Cyberpunk's visual sense.

A major feature of Cyberpunk wind is light pollution. The combination of cyan, orange and pink light sources can instantly set off the picture atmosphere. At the same time, QX50' s "Stars of Mountains and Seas" design has changed its taste under such light and shadow.

In the same way, I also took some other angles.

Personally, the blue tone may be more flavorful than blue.

Regarding the solid color background, the solid color background is actually not easy to shoot. It may not have the visual impact of the previous pictures, but it requires high quality control of the details. However, my strength is still relatively good, and I can only draw a rough picture.

This picture looks nothing special, but it is actually made up of two pictures. The main reason for this situation is that one of the lights is broken. So I used a lamp to shoot the relationship between light and shade bit by bit, and finally I synthesized it through PS.

For example, the above one, in fact, I took both of them. The main purpose is to show the sexy lines on the hood of the car. From the outside, this thing is very sexy, and from the car, it can indicate the direction of the front of the car.

Then, after roughly unifying the two original pictures with the ACR that comes with PS, divide the two pictures into two layers, and then use the mask function to wipe the effects of the two pictures together bit by bit.

By the way, I want to mention an episode here, that is, the light and shadow at the back door is very irregular and unsightly.

There is a little trick: draw it according to the ideal light and shadow shape with a pen tool, then imitate the light and shadow effect of the front door with tools such as color picker and imitation stamp, and finally add some noise.

This picture simply deals with two places: the hood and the light and shadow of the left back door.

There was a reflection on the hood, so it was wiped off.

Then the left and right doors are shaded in the way mentioned above and blended with the car paint.

I wrote so much unconsciously (inner OS: I can't write anymore). At the end of this post, simply put it up! It is said that the 2020 QX50 has upgraded the in-vehicle system and also supports mobile phone interconnection. It is much easier to set up navigation, and it also supports real-time traffic display. No matter how many NBs have been upgraded, they are not as fast as my PS! ! !
