What does the movie Love in Prague want to express?

Romantic brain surgeon Thomas, waitress Teresa and painter sabine are entangled in love.

Introduction:

In Prague, there is a promising young brain surgeon named Thomas. He has two confidants, namely sabine, a female painter, and Teresa, a waitress. Teresa touched Thomas with sincere love. So Thomas changed his inherent concept of life and decided to marry Teresa. However, Thomas' romantic nature has not changed.

During the Prague Spring, Thomas fled to Switzerland because of persecution, while sabina went to the United States. Thomas and Theresa were dismissed from public office when they returned to the Czech Republic. So they lived in seclusion in the countryside and lived a quiet life. Later, they all died in a car accident.
