He is currently the deputy director of the Ruzhou Rucier Museum, a director of the Ruzhou Numismatic Society, a director of the Pingdingshan Collectors Association, a member of the Chinese Ancient Ceramics Society, and a member of the Henan Provincial Museum Society. Influenced by his father Chen Shaolu, he loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. In the 1970s, he won the first prize in the first youth calligraphy and painting exhibition in Linru County (now Ruzhou City). In 1979, he joined the 37297th Troop Club and served as an art publicist and fourth-class projectionist. In 1981, he won the first prize in the army's "First Soldier Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition". In 1984, he retired from the army and returned to Ruzhou to engage in cultural relics and archaeological work. He was serious and responsible for his work. In 1982, he was named a "double pioneer" work model by the 37297 unit. In 1979, he was named Pingdingshan City's "New Long March Commando". He has participated in provincial and national cultural relics and archeology professional training for many times, totaling nearly four years. He is unique in identifying Ru porcelain and ancient calligraphy and painting. Articles, papers, photographs, paintings, etc. on cultural relics, archeology and exploration of ancient art have been published in provincial and national books and periodicals. The ancient tomb murals were copied and copied, and the ink drawings of celebrities such as Li Kuchan and Pu Jie were used for display and collection in museums and archives bureaus.
