Wandering photographer

During school, I often read fashion magazines or photography magazines and pay attention to some aesthetic bloggers or travel bloggers. When I study photography, I will also appreciate the works of some modern street photographers, such as Ernst Haas, Vivian Mayer, Willis Piller, Steven Siegel, Laurene Valle and so on. New york is the place they often look for, confused, retro, conflicting or dull, but it attracts me. So, from a very young age, I was full of yearning for new york. In that city, fashion, news, entertainment and decisive moments seem to happen every day.

At the beginning of the year, the opportunity to go to new york finally came. My teacher recommends the training of English travel writing. I happened to visit some American enterprises for work reasons, and some friends invited me to hold activities in the United States, so I simply flew to the United States and lived and worked in New York for a while.

I still remember listening to "I have never been to new york" by Chopsticks Brothers last year. I didn't expect to walk in the streets of Manhattan this year, eat "chicken covered rice" in the streets and buy cheap wine in Brooklyn. Everyone has different feelings about new york, but from the photographer's point of view, the city is really suitable for street shooting. If you like photography as much as I do, you must come to new york.

Take the subway that commuters take every day. Whether from work to meeting friends in midtown to downtown, or from Manhattan to Brooklyn to find a literary shop, the subway is always one of the most common themes in street photography.

New york subway is not as prosperous and modern as the city on the ground of new york. It is no exaggeration to say that many times I really feel very shabby and messy. Not only is the infrastructure poor, but sometimes there are many wandering or idle people gathered here. But for street shooting, there are always many pictures worth recording in the subway.

Of course, as a super city, new york also needs high-rise buildings and "new york-like" buildings. I also took some photos during this time.

Of course, even in the most prosperous modern city, there are many street pictures worth recording. During my stay in new york, I always go out with my camera after work, and sometimes I don't know my destination. Anyway, the subway in new york is only about 2 dollars, so I often find the nearest subway station to get on, then get off at will and press the shutter in the street.

I have finished my journey and left new york, but there are still too many places in this city that I haven't explored. Many beautiful restaurants and small shops haven't punched in, many art galleries haven't been visited, strand Bookstore hasn't been scouted well, Danbo Art District has never had a chance to go, and bars along the Hudson River have never been drunk, but new york is really a city that will want to come again for the first time. I hope I can come back here in summer and take better photos at that time.
