Not long after their wedding, Carl Peterson (Matt Dillon) and Molly Peterson (Kate Hudson) are enjoying their second marriage. The romance and warmth of the human world. But the sad news came that Randy Dupree (Owen Wilson) had lost his job for no reason because of attending their wedding. Carl and Randy have been close friends since childhood, so they couldn't just sit idly by and ignore their friend's bad luck. Moreover, poor Randy has encountered serious challenges in even the most basic aspects of life such as food and housing. As a result, Carl had to end his romantic honeymoon with his bride Molly in a hurry. And invited his friend Randy to temporarily stay in his new home for a while. Wait until you find a suitable new job before looking elsewhere. At first, Carl, who had been a friend for many years, was accustomed to Randy's minor problems and could tolerate them. However, as time went by, Randy's immaturity and irresponsibility and other bad habits became obvious one by one. It was fine for Karl, but Karl's newly married bride Molly had no favorable impressions of the silly boy in front of her who was harassing their world with carelessness and indifference.

Especially Randy's erratic behavior made Molly feel more and more annoying.

Later, after driving Randy out of the house, he found the lovelorn Randy sitting alone on the street in the heavy rain. Carl did not want to cause trouble, but Molly, who was overflowing with sympathy, took Randy back. From then on, Molly began to appreciate Randy's behavior, while Carl became jealous, and finally exploded when his father-in-law (Michael Douglas) visited.

Movie Highlights Michael Douglas joined the cast of the film last October and played the bride's controlling father. Let's forget for a moment Michael Douglas's eye-popping performances in similar comedies. Although he usually plays more serious roles, the harsh role of the heroine's father in this film is easy to laugh at. The film was shot in Los Angeles and Honolulu, Hawaii. Owen Wilson and director Wes Anderson are classmates, and both majored in philosophy. Owen Wilson also served as the film's producer.

[Edit this paragraph] Brief review of the film "Randy is the kind of person you always want to see at parties because he is very funny." Sweet sister Kate Hudson said, " But he is already thirty years old and living such a life is really embarrassing." Obviously, Owen Wilson's performance is remarkable and has been affirmed by the female lead Kate Hudson. The directors of the film, the Russo brothers, naturally knew all about this and spoke highly of the performances of Irving and Matt Dillon, "They worked very well together and were always discussing some messy things in the film. Kate's appearance will make people laugh all the time.
