[Daily 1] Dry Populus euphratica in Ejina Desert

A Populus euphratica forest grows in Ejina Banner of Alashan League in western Inner Mongolia. This is a dry land, almost surrounded by desert. Hu Yangshu is thriving in this arid land. They are very drought tolerant. The climate in Ejina in early autumn is dry and sunny, and the Populus euphratica forest becomes colorful, attracting tourists and photographers from all over the world. Legend has it that President Populus euphratica will not die for thousands of years in this arid land, nor will he fall down for thousands of years after his death, nor will he rot for thousands of years even if he falls down. But the legend is just a legend, and the increasingly arid land can't sustain the life of trees after all. Strange forest? This is a landscape that people are worried about because of Hu Yangmu's death.

In the evening, the sky in Ejina changes, the colors are charming, and the light is more suitable for taking pictures. But then what? Strange forest? There are so many people taking pictures in the room that it is too difficult for me to take such pictures without a wide-angle lens. Therefore, I didn't choose the best time to take this photo, but showed a silence in which life had passed away in the sun. It is this silence and the weather-beaten texture in the picture that gives people an unspeakable horror: it is like a battlefield, with dead bodies everywhere and fine sand covering lightly.

The wide-angle lens is used to contain more picture elements, and the other is to show more impact on nearby wind-eroded trunks. The above photos were taken with Pentax K20D digital SLR camera and SMC Pentax -Da 12-24mm F4 ED Al [if] lens.
