From the names of these 72 valleys, we can appreciate the strong historical and humanistic atmosphere on the northern slope of Qinling Mountains. Take Chang 'an and Huxian counties in Xi 'an Annan:

Bitter fish: in ancient times, the water quality was bitter, and the natives said it was bitter, and then the sound became a reservoir. Later, people realized that this is because the valley is rich in minerals such as gold and silver;

Raging robe valley: According to legend, Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, hunted in the mountains, and his robes were torn by branches, hence the name;

Otani: the original nominal valley, later called Dayi Valley, was simplified to Otani;

Yu Feng: Named after the valley where the Fenghe River originated, on both sides of the Fenghe River, not far from Yukou, it is the capital of the Zhou Dynasty, Fenghe pickaxe;

Gaoguan Valley: There is a towering Xiufeng on the right side of the valley, which looks like a giant wearing a high hat, hence the name;

Zigeyu: Named after Zigeshan (peak) in it, it is the favorite of literati and poets in past dynasties, leaving Li Bai's famous sentences such as "Zigeyu is connected to the south and the sky is blue". There is Wang Shunshan National Forest Park to the west of Liu Yu.

4. Journey to the West. Yukou is located in Hanmenzhai Village, Puhua Town, Lantian County, and the tourist highway around the mountain passes through Yukou. 7. Yu Xiaoyang. Yukou is located in Jiaodai Town, Lantian County. The tourist highway around the mountain is about 2km south from Jiaodai Town (less than Guanmiao Village in Xiaozhai Township), west to Yu Xiaoyang and east to Daiyu. Go south along Yu Xiaoyang, and you can reach Yuntai Mountain at an altitude of 2,224 meters.

8. Dayangyu. Yukou is located in Jiaodai Town, Lantian County. From Jiaodai Town to Xiahuanshan Tourist Highway, Meiyukou can be reached. Go south along Dayangyu, and you can reach Yuntai Mountain at an altitude of 2224 meters.

9. Dong Tang Fish. Tangyu Town is located in the southwest of Lantian County, about 4 kilometers south of the tourist highway around the mountain. In order to distinguish it from Tangyu in Meixian County, Baoji City in the west, it is called Dongtangyu. Tangyu, called Shimen Valley in ancient times, is famous for its hot springs. "Shimen Tangquan" is one of the eight scenic spots in Lantian. There is a developed "Tangyu Tourist Scenic Area" in the valley. Yuntai Mountain can be reached from Dong Tang Valley. You can cross the Qinling Mountains along Dong Tang Valley to Wawuchang Village, Fengbeihe Township, Zhashui County, Shangluo City, and then to Yingpan Town, Zhashui County.
