How to take a perfect selfie?

Lead: Photographers usually take pictures for us, so how do we take photos by ourselves? Come and have a look with me!

How to take a perfect selfie? First, prepare in advance.

1. Shooting concept

Because I like the beautiful photos of the fairy department very much, I try my best to set off the elegant and feminine temperament from the aspects of scene, lighting, scenery and costume modeling:

(1) scene and light. Ambient light is very necessary because the whole atmosphere needs light and shadow to set off. Try to choose sunny windows in the room (sunny floor-to-ceiling windows are the best), and light-colored gauze curtains (such as linen gauze) with good transparency should be hung on the windows to soften the light; For outdoor scenes, choose forests or grasslands with side backlighting.

(2) Environmental layout. With a large number of yarns and lace as the background, the tulle can be layered to form a dreamy feeling.

(3) make-up modeling. Make-up should be as natural as possible, not too strong. Simple skin primer, eyeliner, faint blush and natural solid color will do. Clothing should match the overall environment, you can choose elegant long skirts to highlight the femininity of women, made of tulle or lace, and you can mix and match some shawls and other clothes outdoors to highlight the temperament of the characters.

2. Shooting equipment

Camera: Canon 5DII, lens: 50 1.4 (set Jiao Da aperture to create blur).

Wired shutter, wireless shutter

Camera tripod (domestic tables and chairs can also be prepared indoors)

A set of background frames

Reflector 1-2 (used to fill the face when backlit)

Second, solve the difficulties of focusing and positioning.

1. How to control the camera selection angle

First, conceive the desired picture. You can ask your family or friends to act as models (or other objects such as dolls) and make a composition at the location you want to shoot. After determining the composition and angle, fix the camera frame and shoot at the corresponding position yourself. Note that the composition of the lens should be slightly larger than what you actually want to shoot, so as to facilitate the later editing of the picture and achieve the best effect. (If there are no other people or things, you can also roughly complete the scene composition, go to the shooting position by yourself, and shoot and debug repeatedly with a timer to achieve the best. When shooting indoors, you can also shoot as high as possible.

2. How to control your posture and emotions when shooting?

Because it's a beautiful film, you don't have to laugh, and you don't have to deliberately pose in a big, exaggerated way. Try to make your body relaxed, natural and comfortable. Before taking pictures, you can find some favorite pictures and pose for imitation. When shooting, you can also pose first and find the feeling before starting shooting. When shooting, the face should be around the lens as much as 45 degrees to get a clear picture of the face. When you face sideways, your eyes should look at the lens slightly to prevent the whites of your eyes from being too big. When expressing temperament, try to be blunt. When expressing emotions, the body should be relaxed and conditional. In some cases, you can play light music to find some feelings and keep trying. Often a photo may need to be shot and adjusted repeatedly to complete. Usually, we should cultivate our sense of lens, so that we can set the desired posture more accurately and quickly.

3. How to control the focus and shutter problems?

(1) Select an appropriate focus reference.

If there is a family member or a small partner to help make the focusing artifact, it is of course the most perfect, so I won't mention it here. I'll just share the focus object for the selfie alone. First, plush dolls, cushions and drawing boards are the most convenient to use while sitting and lying down. Second, hard wire (only for outdoor scenes such as grass and Woods). In outdoor scenes, insert a hard wire into the soil, bolt a light thing or hang a cloth on the wire (as colorful as possible), and use it when standing or semi-upright (pay attention to the hardness of the wire, it is too soft to stand, and it is a bit high to hang). Third, the shelf, you can use the ironing machine at home, you can use extra brackets in appearance; Fourth, set up props. When the head rests on a set (such as a table, chair, pillow) and is on the same plane, focus on props. In the process of taking selfies, people will find more focusing methods according to their own habits, and it is very interesting to choose and use them flexibly.

(2) Find the focus.

When focusing, adjust the position and height of the focusing reference object, and choose the position of eyes or head as the focus. It can also be used flexibly according to the specific situation that the focusing reference object is on nearby objects (such as props with the same plane and height) whose eyes and head are parallel and on the same plane.

(3) focusing. Auto focus first, switch to manual focus, and directly switch the focus from AF to MF on the lens. At this time, the focal length is locked and will not be refocused.

(4) blinds. Be sure to release the shooting with the cable to prevent vibration when pressing the shutter and affect the focusing accuracy. When using the wired shutter, set the camera to shoot with a delay of 10 second. After pressing the photo button, you can reach the focus point, quickly remove the focused reference object and set the posture. Generally speaking, there is enough time (be careful not to move one foot when moving the reference object, so as not to find the position after moving). When using the wireless shutter, it is set to delay shooting for 2 seconds. After setting the approximate posture, press the camera button, hide the shutter within 2 seconds, and fine-tune the hand position. Choose wired or wireless according to your proficiency.

In addition: when shooting a close-up of the face, delay shooting for 2 seconds, find the focus of the eyes, fine-tune the position many times, and take more photos. If you can't shoot your hand, press the shutter without delay. The above methods are selected according to different situations. Practice makes perfect, and more practice is needed. Sometimes the lens feels good and you can take an ideal photo without trying many times.

Third, the case analysis

1. I want to take this photo from a higher position to enrich the scenery and avoid the monotony of the picture, so I fixed the photo frame on the stairs to shoot. Because my house is an attic, I use stairs. If there are no stairs, I can find a table. ) Here, a rabbit with an X-mouth is used for focusing (aiming at the eyes) and general composition, leaving more room for composition. When shooting, put your head on the rabbit's face, throw away the doll and pose.

Camera position

The rabbit focuses and the side is filled with self-made reflector.

It is very important to press the wired shutter after focusing and use the wireless shutter when there is not enough time.

2. In order to highlight the melancholy feeling, when designing the pose, I chose not to look directly at the camera, bow my head sideways or turn my head to the side of the camera to look down. I chose a slightly higher seat here and took more scenes. Still focus on the doll, delay shooting 10 second, and then take a picture at the shooting position to ensure accurate composition and focus. If there is no problem, you can follow your feelings slowly.

Adjust the cushion+rabbit to the same height as I sit on the bed and concentrate.

3. Think about what to shoot before you shoot. This picture is to highlight the expression of the characters, so try to make the frame close to yourself. At this time, you can sit in the chair and take a photo with the shutter, and then finally determine the composition of the picture. (Remember that the self-portrait composition should be wider, which is convenient for later cutting), and then it is the most difficult focusing link. I brought a prop of the drawing board with me (which can be changed into a prop suitable for height around me) and put the drawing board on the chair. At that time, the wind was very strong, so I fixed the gauze curtain on the camera frame to form a foreground. With the swing of the gauze curtain, I took an unexpected effect.

Because the background is bald, lace curtains are prepared to enrich the picture. After the printed matter next to the chair is focused, it is placed on the chair, and the portable reflector on the right fills the light.
