I want to know some basic rules of football: what is offside, what is diving, when to issue a penalty and when to draw a card. ...
The first chapter venue
1. The playing field must be rectangular, and the length of sideline must be greater than the length of goal line. The length is 90-120m (100-130m) and the width is 45-90m (50- 100m).
2. The length of the international competition is100-10 meter (110/20 yards) and the width is 64-75 meters (70-80 yards).
3. Venue marking The line marking of the competition venue should be included in the area as the boundary line of each area in the venue. The two longer boundary lines are called sideline lines, the two shorter ones are called bottom lines, and the part between the two goalposts in the bottom line is called goal line. The width of all lines shall not exceed 12 cm (5 inches). The playing field is divided into two halves by the center line. Make a center mark at the midpoint of the center line of the site, and draw a circle with a radius of 9. 15 meters (10 yards) from the center mark.
4. Goal area The goal area is at both ends of the field. The rules are as follows: Draw two lines perpendicular to the goal line from 5.5 meters (6 yards) inside each goal post. These lines extend 5.5 meters (6 yards) to the playing field and are connected by a line parallel to the goal line. The area composed of these lines and the goal line is the goal area.
5. Penalty area The penalty area is located at both ends of the field. It is stipulated as follows: At 16.5 meters (18 yards), draw two lines perpendicular to the goal line from the inside of each goal post. These lines extend to 16.5 meters (18 yards) on the playing field and are connected by a line parallel to the goal line. The area formed by these lines and the goal line is the penalty area. Set penalty points at the midpoint 1 1 m (12 yards) where each penalty area is equidistant from the goal post. Outside the penalty area, draw an arc with a radius of 9. 15 meters (10 yards) from each penalty point.
6. Flagpole A flat-topped flagpole not less than 1.5 meters (5 feet) should be erected at every corner of the site, and a small flag should be attached to the flagpole. Flagpoles can also be set at both ends of the center line and not less than 1 m (1 yard) outside the sideline.
7. Corner Arc In the competition field, draw a quarter circle with a radius of 1 m (1 yard) from each corner flagpole.
8. The goal must be placed in the middle of each goal line. They are composed of two upright posts equidistant from the corner flagpole and a horizontal beam connecting their top ends. The distance between the two pillars is 7.32 meters (8 yards), and the distance between the lower edge of the beam and the ground is 2.44 meters (8 feet). The two goalposts and the cross beam have the same width and thickness, not exceeding 12 cm (5 inches). The goal line is the same width as the goalposts and crossbeams. The goal net can be tied to the goal and the ground behind the goal, and it should be properly propped up so as not to affect the goalkeeper. The doorposts and beams must be white.
9. Safety objectives must be firmly fixed on the ground. If this requirement is met, moving targets can be used.
10 Resolution of the International Football Council 1
If the beam is displaced or broken, the game should stop until it is repaired and reset. If it cannot be repaired, the game is terminated. It is not allowed to use ropes instead of beams. If the crossbeam can be repaired, the game should be resumed by throwing the ball where it stopped.
Resolution 2 The goalposts and beams must be made of wood, metal or other approved materials. Its shape can be square, rectangle, circle or ellipse, and it must not be harmful to athletes.
Solution 3: No commercial advertisements, whether physical advertising or graphic advertisements, should appear on the venue and venue equipment (including the goal net and the ground inside the goal net) from the time the team enters the venue to the end of the first half and re-enters the venue in the second half to the end of the game. In particular, there should be no advertisements on the goal, goal net and corner flag, and no auxiliary equipment (such as cameras and microphones) should be installed.
Resolution 4 As stated in Resolution 3, during the competition, it is forbidden to appear on the competition venue and venue equipment (including the goal net and the ground inside the goal net) copies of the symbols or patterns of representatives of the International Football Federation, the Intercontinental Federation, national associations, leagues, clubs or other groups, whether in kind or in pictures and texts.
Analysis 5 Outside the playing field, the distance from the corner kick arc is 9. 15 meters (10 yards), and a mark is made perpendicular to the goal line to ensure that the defender can observe the specified distance when kicking the corner kick.

Chapter II Dance Party
1. mass and measuring circle; Made of leather or other suitable materials; The circumference is not more than 70 cm (28 inches) and not less than 68 cm (27 inches); At the start of the competition, the weight shall not exceed 450g (16 oz) and not be less than 4 10g (14 oz); At sea level, the pressure is equal to 0.6- 1. 1 atmospheric pressure (600- 1 100g/cm2, 8.5- 15.6 psi).
2. Replacement of bad ball If the ball is broken or damaged during the game: stop the game; Restart the game with a replacement ball where the original ball was broken.
In the process of kick-off, goal kick-off, corner kick, free kick, penalty kick or throw-in ball, if the ball is broken or damaged, the game should be restarted according to the corresponding regulations.
In the game, you can't change the ball without the permission of the referee.
3. Resolution I of the International Football Council
Only football that meets the minimum technical requirements stipulated in Chapter II of the Rules can be used in the competition.
In the competitions sponsored by FIFA and the Intercontinental Federation, the ball used must bear one of the following three signs: a. the official "FIFA approval" sign; B. official "FIFA producer" logo; C certified "ball standards for international competitions".
Printing these marks on the ball means that the ball has been officially tested and meets the special technical requirements stipulated by all levels. The minimum technical requirements of this ball have been explained in chapter 2 of the rules. These special requirements related to all levels must be agreed by the International Football Council. Relevant testing institutions should also be recognized by FIFA. Football associations in various countries can require the use of balls that meet one of the above three signs. Other match balls must meet the requirements of Chapter II of the Rules.
Resolution 2
In the competitions sponsored by FIFA, Intercontinental Federation and National Association, no commercial advertisements are allowed on the ball except the logo of the competition and the manufacturer's trademark. Competition laws may limit the size and number of such signs.
Chapter III Number of Players
1. Players should have two teams in a game, and each team should have no more than 1 1, including a goalkeeper. Any team with less than 7 players can't start the game.
2. Official Competition In the official competition sponsored by FIFA, Intercontinental Federation or National Association, a maximum of 3 substitute players can be used in each competition. The competition schedule should indicate how many substitutes can be nominated, from 3 to no more than 7.
3. In other competitions, the number of substitutes that can be used shall not exceed 5, and it is stipulated that:
● The teams concerned have reached an agreement on the maximum number of substitutes;
● Inform the referee before the game. If the referee is not informed before the start of the game or the teams have not reached any agreement, the number of substitutes can not exceed 3.
In all competitions, the list of substitutes must be submitted to the referee before the start of the competition. Substitutes who are not nominated are not allowed to participate in the competition.
5. Substitute procedures Substitutes must comply with the following provisions:
● Inform the referee before the substitution;
● Substitutes can enter the competition field only after they leave and get the referee's signal;
● Substitutes can only enter from the center line when the game stops;
● When the substitute player enters the competition field, the substitute procedure is completed;
● From then on, the substitute player becomes a player on the field, and the replaced player terminates as a player on the field;
● Substituted players are not allowed to participate in the competition again;
● The referee has the right to exercise power over all substitute players, whether they play or not.
6. Changing goalkeepers Any player can change positions with goalkeepers. The regulations are as follows:
● Inform the referee before exchanging positions;
● Switch places when the game stops.
7. Violation/Punishment If the substitute player enters the venue without the permission of the referee:
● Stop the game;
● Give the substitute a warning and show a yellow card to order him to leave;
When the game stops, restart the game by throwing the ball where it is.
If a player changes places with the goalkeeper without the permission of the referee:
● Continue the game;
● When the game becomes a dead ball, the relevant players will be warned and shown a yellow card.
For any other violation of this rule: the players concerned will be warned and shown a yellow card.
Restart the game: If the referee stops the game and carries out the warning, the opposing team will kick an indirect free kick where the ball was when the game stopped.
Players and substitutes are ordered to play: players are ordered to play before kick-off, and only one substitute can be selected from the nominated substitutes. Any nominated substitute must play before kick-off or after the start of the game.
8. Resolution I of the International Football Council
According to the conditions stipulated in Chapter III of the Rules, the minimum number of players in a team is determined by the national association. However, the Council believes that if any team has fewer than seven players, it will not be able to continue the game.
Resolution 2
The coach can convey tactical instructions to the athletes during the competition. He and other officials must be in the designated technical area and be responsible for their actions.
Chapter IV Athletes' Equipment
1. Safe players are not allowed to use or wear equipment or anything (including all kinds of jewelry) that may endanger themselves and other players.
2. Basic equipment The basic equipment that a player must have is: a sports coat; Shorts-if you wear tight underwear, it must be the same color as the main color of shorts; Socks; Leggings; Football shoes.
3. Leggings must be completely covered by socks; Made of suitable materials (rubber, plastic or other similar materials); Provide an appropriate level of protection.
4. Goalkeepers Each goalkeeper's clothing color must be different from other players, referees and assistant referees.
5. Violation/any penalty for violating this rule: ● The game does not need to stop;
● After the referee points out that there is something wrong with the player's equipment, the player should leave the competition venue to adjust the equipment;
● Unless the player has adjusted his equipment, he should leave the venue when the game stops becoming a dead ball;
● Players who leave the venue to adjust their equipment are not allowed to re-enter the venue without the permission of the referee;
● The referee should check the players' equipment before allowing them to return to the field;
● Only when the game becomes a dead ball can players re-enter the playing field;
Players who leave the venue for violating the above rules will be warned and shown a yellow card if they enter (or re-enter) the venue without the consent of the referee.
Restart the game. If the referee stops the game, execute a warning: the opposing team will kick an indirect free kick where the ball was when the game stopped and start the game again.
Chapter V Referee
1. Referee's power Each game is controlled by a referee, who is appointed with full authority to implement the rules of the game.

● Ensure that the players leave the competition field when they are injured and bleeding. The player stopped bleeding after breastfeeding and could not return to the field until he got the signal from the referee.
When a team is fouled and can make a profit on favorable terms, the game is allowed to continue. If the expected "advantage" does not occur at that moment, then the initial foul will be punished;
● When a player fouls more than once at the same time, the more serious one will be punished;
● The referee does not have to punish players who can be warned and fined immediately, but must do so when the game is a dead ball;

Resolution 3
The facts related to the game should include whether the goal is scored and the result of the game.
Chapter VI Assistant Referee
1. Responsibility
Two assistant referees shall be appointed for each competition, and their duties (to be determined by the referees) shall state:
* When the whole ball passes through the playing field;
* Which team should kick a corner kick, goal kick or throw a foul ball;
* When can an offside player be punished?
* When asked to change players;
* When misconduct or any other event occurs outside the sight of the referee.
2. Assist the assistant referee to control the game according to the rules of the game. If the assistant referee has excessive interference or improper performance, the referee may dismiss him and report to the relevant departments.
Chapter VII Competition Time
1. The game time is divided into the first half and the second half, and there is no half for 45 minutes. Except in special circumstances, it shall be decided by the referee and both parties. Any agreement to change the game time (such as reducing it to 40 minutes per half due to insufficient light) must be made before the start of the game and conform to the rules of the game.
2. Midfielders have the right to have an intermission. The interval shall not exceed 15 minutes. Competition rules must specify the time of halftime. Only the referee agreed to change the intermission time.
3. Deduction of lost time The following lost time in each half game shall be deducted:
* changing players;
* estimation of athletes' injuries;
* Remove injured players from the playing field for treatment;
* delay time;
* For any other reason.
Deduct the lost time fee according to the judgment of the referee.
4. Free throws and free throws At the end of each half game or the first half of the deciding game, an extension of time should be allowed to execute free throws and free throws.
5. The rules of the final game can stipulate that two more half-court games with equal time should be played. The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Rules can also be applied.
6. Unless otherwise stipulated in the competition regulations, the suspended competition shall be resumed.
Chapter VIII Competition Start and Restart
1. Prepare to flip a coin, and the right team will decide the attack direction in the first half. The other team started the game. Guess the right team kicked off in the second half and started the game. In the second half of the game, the two teams switched venues.
2. Kick-off is a way to start and restart the game: at the beginning of the game; After the goal; At the beginning of the second half; At the beginning of two halves of the decisive period. Kick-off can score directly.

order
* All players are in their own half;
* Before the start of the game, the opposing team members should be at least 9. 15 meters away from the ball (10 yards);
* The ball should be placed on the center mark;
* Referee signal;
* When the ball is kicked and moves forward, the game begins;
* Kick-off players are not allowed to touch the ball again before other players touch it.
After one team scored, the other team kicked off.
Violation/fine
If the kickoff player touches the ball again before other players touch it, the opposing team will kick an indirect free kick where the foul occurred.
Other fouls in the kick-off procedure should be kicked off again.
3. Dropping the ball is a way to restart the game after the game needs to be suspended for reasons not mentioned in the rules of the game.
procedure
When the game stopped, the referee put the ball back. When the ball touches the ground, the game starts again.
Violation/fine
Re-throw the ball: * If the ball is touched by the player before touching the ground; * If the ball leaves the playing field without touching the ground.
4. Special circumstances * A free kick awarded to the defender in the opponent's goal area can be kicked from anywhere in the goal area.
* The indirect free kick awarded to the attacker in the opponent's goal area is kicked from the goal line which is closest to the foul place and parallel to the goal line.
After the game is suspended, the ball falls on the goal line parallel to the goal line, that is, the place closest to the goal area where the ball was when the game stopped, and the game starts again.
Chapter 9 Competition and Dead Ball
65438
dead ball
The game will be a dead ball under the following circumstances
* When the ball crosses the goal line or sideline on the ground or in the air;
* When the game is stopped by the referee.
2. The rest of the game is in progress, including:
* The ball bounces from the goalposts, beams or corner flagpoles to the playing field;
* The ball bounces back from the referee or assistant referee on the playing field.
Chapter 10 Winning Methods
1. The goal score is that the whole ball crosses the goal line from between the goalposts and under the crossbar, but it has not violated the rules of the game before.
2. The winning team The team that scored more points in the competition is the winner. If the two teams score the same number of goals and don't score, the game will be a draw.
3. Rules of the Competition The rules of the competition should state whether the winner of the competition will be decided through a tie or other steps agreed by the International Football Council.
Chapter 11 Offside
1. The offside position itself is not a foul.
Player offside: The player is closer to the opponent's goal line than the ball and the penultimate player.
The player is not offside: he is in his own half; He is tied with the penultimate opponent; He is neck and neck with the last two opponents.
2. A player who is in an offside position, at the moment when the same player plays or touches the ball, the referee thinks that he is "involved" in the real game, and it is judged as an offside foul:
* interfere with the game;
* Interference with other team members;
* Take advantage of offside position to gain benefits.
3. It is not a foul. If the player directly receives the ball from the following situations, it is not an offside foul: a free kick; Throw a foul ball; corner
4. Foul/Punishment For any offside foul, the referee should award the opponent an indirect free kick at the place where the foul occurred.

The referee believes that if a player violates any of the following six fouls hastily, recklessly or excessively, he will be awarded a direct free kick:
* Kicking or attempting to kick an opposing team member;
* trip or try to trip the other team member;
* Jump to another team;
* collided with the other team members;
* Beating or attempting to beat an opposing team member;
* Push the opposing team members;
If a player violates any of the following four fouls, he will also be awarded a direct free kick:
* Touch the opposing player before touching the ball in order to gain control of the ball;
* Pull other team members;
* spit out the opposing team;
* Intentional handball (excluding the goalkeeper in the restricted area).
Kick a direct free kick where the foul happened.
No matter where the ball is in the game, if a player violates any of the above ten fouls in his own restricted area, he should be awarded a penalty.

If the goalkeeper violates any of the following five fouls in his own restricted area, he will be awarded an indirect free kick:
* When controlling the ball by hand, you should take more than four steps before serving;
* Touch the ball with your hand again after serving without being touched by other players;
* Touching the ball kicked by the players on purpose;
* Touch the foul ball thrown directly by the players;
* Stall for time.
The referee believes that an indirect free kick will also be awarded to the opponent if the player is in the following situations:
:: Action is dangerous;
* block other team members;
* stop the opposing goalkeeper from serving with his hand;
* Violate any other foul not mentioned before Chapter 12 of the Rules, stop the game and be warned or fined.
Kick an indirect free kick where the foul happened.

If a player violates any of the following seven regulations, he will be warned and shown a yellow card:
* Commitment to non-sports ethics;
:: Expressing dissent in words or actions;
:: Persistent violation of rules;
* Delay the game restart;
* When the corner kick or free kick starts the game again, don't quit the specified distance;
* Entering or re-entering the competition venue without the permission of the referee;
* Deliberately leaving the venue without the permission of the referee.
Fine order

Evil
If a player violates any of the following seven regulations, he will be fined and shown a red card:
* serious foul;
:: Violence;
* Spit at each other or anyone else;
* Deliberately destroying the opponent's goal or obvious scoring opportunities by handball (excluding the goalkeeper in the restricted area);
* Use a foul that can be judged as a free kick or a penalty kick to destroy the obvious goal opportunity to move to one's own goal;
* Use rude, insulting or abusive language;
* Get a second warning in the same game.
Resolution 1 of the International Football Council: In the game, the goalkeeper will be punished with a penalty if he throws or tries to throw the ball to the opposing team in his own restricted area.
Solution 2: No matter whether the player is on or off the court, no matter whether he directly makes an act that should be warned or punished, he will be punished according to the nature of the foul.
Solution 3 When the goalkeeper touches the ball with any part of his arm, he can be considered to have controlled the ball. This control ball includes the goalkeeper deliberately blocking the ball with his arm, but does not include the referee's opinion that the ball bounced back from the goalkeeper's arm accidentally, such as after the goalkeeper saved the ball. If the goalkeeper holds the ball with his hand or arm for more than 5-6 seconds, it is regarded as delaying time.
Resolution 4 According to Chapter 12 of the Rules, a player can pass the ball to the goalkeeper with his head, chest and knees. However, if the referee thinks that the player deliberately uses the rules of the game to set up a scam, it is unprofessional. He will be warned that the opponent will kick an indirect free kick where the foul occurs. When kicking a free kick, the player will use the rules to deliberately set up a scam, and will be warned. If he does not behave ethically, he will show a yellow card and kick the free kick again. In this case, it has nothing to do with whether the goalkeeper touched the ball with his hand afterwards, but mainly because the player tried to use the letter and spirit of Chapter 12 of the Rules.
Solution 5: Grab from behind and endanger the safety of the opponent, which is regarded as a serious foul.
Resolution 6. Pretending to cheat the referee anywhere in the venue must be punished as unprofessional behavior.
Chapter 13 Free kick
1. Types of free kicks Free kicks are divided into indirect free kicks and direct free kicks. Whether it is a direct free kick or an indirect free kick, the ball must be fixed when kicking, and the kicker must not touch the ball again before the ball is touched by other players.
Direct free kick * If a direct free kick directly kicks into the opponent's goal, it is judged as a score.
* If a direct free kick directly kicks into one's own goal, the opponent is awarded a corner kick.
Indirect free kick signal: When the referee punishes an indirect free kick, he should raise his head with one arm and keep this posture until the ball is touched by any other player or becomes a dead ball after kicking.
The ball is in front of the door: only when the ball touches another player in front of the door can you score.
* If an indirect free kick directly kicks into the opponent's goal, it is judged as a goal free kick.
* If an indirect free kick directly scores an own goal, the opponent is awarded a corner kick.
2. The position of the free kick The free kick in the penalty area belongs to the indirect or direct free kick of the defender: all the opposing players are at least 9. 15 meters away from the ball (10 yards);
All opposing players should stand outside the penalty area until the game begins;
When the ball is directly kicked out of the penalty area, the game begins;
You can kick a free kick at any point in the goal area.
An indirect free kick belonging to the attacker. All opposing players are at least 9. 15 meters (10 yards) away from the ball until the game starts, unless they have stood on the goal line between their own goalposts;
When the ball is kicked and moved, the game begins;
When kicking an indirect free kick in the opponent's goal area, it should be executed on the goal area line closest to the foul and parallel to the goal line.
Free kick outside the penalty area: all opposing players are at least 9. 15 meters away from the ball (10 yards) until the game starts;
When the ball is kicked and moved, the game begins;
Kick a free kick where the foul happened.
3. When a free kick is violated/penalized, the opposing player is closer to the ball than the specified distance: kick again.
When a defender kicks a free kick in his own penalty area, the ball doesn't just kick out of the penalty area: it should be kicked again.
When a free kick is kicked by a player other than the goalkeeper:
* If after the game, the kicker touches the ball again before other players touch it (except touching the ball by hand): the opponent kicks an indirect free kick at the place where the foul occurs;
* If after the game, the kicker intentionally touches the ball with his hand before other players touch it: the opponent kicks a direct free kick where the foul occurs; If the foul occurs in the penalty area, a penalty will be awarded.
When the goalkeeper kicks a free kick:
* If, after the game, the goalkeeper touches the ball again before other players touch it (except by hand): the opponent kicks an indirect free kick at the place where the foul occurs;
* If the goalkeeper intentionally touches the ball with his hand after the game and before other players touch the ball: If the foul occurs outside the goalkeeper's own restricted area, the opponent will kick a direct free kick at the foul place; If the foul occurs in the penalty area, the opponent will kick an indirect free kick at the foul place.
Chapter 14 Penalty kicks
During the game, a free kick that a team was fined for violating one of the ten fouls that can be judged as a direct free kick in its own restricted area should be executed. Penalty can be scored directly. At the end of each half game or the first half of the deciding game, an extension of time should be allowed to complete the penalty.
1. Ball and player
The position of
Ball: put it in the penalty area.
Player who takes the penalty: Make sure he takes the penalty.
Defending goalkeeper: Stay on the goal line between the goalposts of the team and face the penalty taker until the ball is kicked out.
Other players except the referee should be in: the venue; Outside the restricted area; After the penalty spot; At least 9. 15m away from the penalty spot.
2. After the player arrives at the position stipulated in the rules, the referee should signal the execution of the penalty;
Don't make a decision until the penalty is completed.
3. The program punishes the player to kick the ball forward;
Before other players touch the ball, the punished player shall not touch the ball again;
When the ball is kicked and moves forward, the game begins.
If the ball crosses the goal line after hitting one or two goalposts, crossbeams and goalkeepers in the middle of the game, or a penalty kick is executed or re-executed because of the end of the first half or the whole game, a score will be awarded.
4. Violation/Penalty If it is before the penalty, the referee violates the rules of the game when kicking the penalty:
* The referee awarded the ball out of bounds;
* If the ball goes into the goal, kick it again;
If the ball doesn't get into the goal, it shouldn't be kicked again.
The goalkeeper violated the rules of the game;
* The referee awarded the ball out of bounds;
* If the ball enters the goal, the score is valid;
If the ball doesn't get into the goal, it should be kicked again.
The penalty shooters enter the penalty area, or before the penalty spot, or less than 9.15m away from the penalty spot;
* The referee awarded the ball out of bounds;
* If the ball goes into the goal, kick it again;
* If the ball does not enter the goal, it should not be kicked again;
* If the player touches the ball that bounces back from the goalkeeper, crossbar or goalpost, the referee will stop the game and the defender will restart the game with an indirect free kick.
The goalkeeper's players enter the penalty area, or before the penalty spot, or less than 9.15m away from the penalty spot;
* The referee awarded the ball out of bounds;
* If the ball enters the goal, the score is valid;
* If the ball doesn't hit the goal, kick it again;
Both the offensive and defensive sides violated the rules of the game: they should play again.
If after the free throw, the referee touches the ball again before other players touch it (except touching the ball with their hands): the opponent kicks an indirect free kick at the place where the foul occurred.
The referee deliberately touched the ball with his hand before the other players touched it: the opponent kicked a direct free kick where the foul happened.
The ball was touched by external factors, which affected the forward movement: it should be kicked again.
The ball bounced back to the playing field from the goalkeeper, crossbar or goalpost and then was thrown.
