The five mysterious plants in the world have different shapes.

① baobab tree

The trunk of baobab is very thick, and the branches are as thick as the trunks of other trees. Its fruit is as big as football. When the fruit is ripe, many animals will come in droves to pick it and eat it. In rainy season, baobab tree can absorb a lot of water and store it for travelers to pass by here to drink water to quench their thirst, so it has the reputation of "tree of life".

② Dragon Blood

The appearance of the dragon's blood tree is very shocking, just like a giant mushroom. Legend has it that the dragon was injured in the battle, and the blood spilled all over the floor to grow the dragon blood tree, whose juice is as red as blood, hence the name dragon blood tree. At present, it is a national second-class rare and endangered protected plant.

③ Dawanghua

King flower is the largest flower in the world, and it is also a saprophyte. Its flowers are big and smelly, with a diameter of 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters. After a short four-day flowering period, the Dawanghua will gradually turn black.

④ Amorphophallus konjac

The giant konjac only blooms 2-3 times in its life, and withers very quickly every time. Like the king flower, it is not only tasteless, but also extremely smelly. It attracts "scavengers" by spreading the smell of rotting corpses and helps it spread pollen, making it the most smelly flower in the world.

⑤ Haematococcus rubrum

The external structure of Nepenthes rubescens is like a net, which is a saprophyte. Such a bright appearance seems to give people a warning that its edibility has not yet been determined, but because it emits a stench, I believe no one will try to eat it.
