The legend of purple kite flower
A long time ago, in Shu County, the prince in charge of the land of abundance had three houses, twelve sons, and only one was a boy. At the age of 40, Wang Ye gave birth to a baby boy with the same name as a baby girl, named Taibao. Taibao was clever since childhood and was very popular with the prince. More than ten years have passed, and the prince is sickly. It's time to look for an heir to the throne. Wang Ye's love for Taibao is well known. In order to let the youngest son succeed to the throne smoothly and avoid the gossip that the eldest son will not succeed to the throne, Wang Ye decided to hold a wading competition in Lushan Mountain nearby. Your report knows the ability of Taibao. It's as sure as a gun. On the day of the game, Taibao and his eldest brother went deep into the Woods to hunt deer together. However, when returning, only the eldest brother came back. The prince was frightened and sent people everywhere to look for nothing. Ten days later, he died of illness. It turned out that big brother was injured on the pretext that day, and Taibao was pushed off the cliff when he helped him. Taibao was rescued by a woman collecting herbs after falling off a cliff. The only communication between Taibao and that woman is a look. The woman saw the kindness, persistence and love of Taibao from those eyes. However, Taibao's injury is too serious for the woman to treat. In desperation, the woman knelt down and prayed to the Bodhisattva for help. After kneeling for three days and nights, the Bodhisattva finally became immortal. The Bodhisattva asked the woman, Why did you save that man? The woman said, because she fell in love with the eyes of that moment. The bodhisattva said, are you willing to dedicate your best things to this person's life? The woman agreed without hesitation. Bodhisattva gave Yuquan to the woman, told her to let Taibao drink Yuquan, and told him to remain anonymous after he recovered. Doing good deeds every day can save his life, but you are only allowed to see him once. You can't talk and leave at once. The woman took Yuquan and threw it into Taibao's mouth. Taibao slowly regained consciousness. Before Taibao woke up, the girl carved the Bodhisattva's confession on the table, and then Taibao turned and left. Then Taibao only saw the back of the woman. After Taibao woke up, he returned to Shu county according to the woman's words, remained anonymous and did good deeds every day. One day three years later, the emperor of the dynasty visited incognito and saw that Taibao took good care of the elderly and thought it was their son. I didn't know Taibao was still alive until I went to chat, and everyone around me called him a good man. The emperor was furious, and when he returned to the DPRK, he handed over Shu County to Taibao as a sovereign. From the first day when Taibao became the emperor's father, he searched for the woman who had visited him in Lushan, but he didn't know what she looked like, only remembered that the woman's back was like a kite bird, but he couldn't find it all over Lushan. Three years later, the emperor married the princess to Taibao and transferred Taibao to the emperor as a prince. Taibao is nearly a hundred years old and knows that his life is not long. The only thing he couldn't let go of when he returned to his hometown was the woman who saved him. Taibao went to the room where he was treated alone, and things had already turned around. Taibao looked at it with nostalgia. When I was about to go back, I saw an old woman educating a girl and said, don't ask for a bodhisattva, be careful to look like a child. Taibao was tired and sat there. Out of curiosity, he asked who A Zi was. The old woman said she didn't know either. The old story in the village told me that there was once a girl in A Zi who saved a man by trading her youth for medicine from a strange man. After the man became an official, he looked around. A Zi looked at his aging face, afraid to look at the man again. Three years later, on this man's wedding night, he lay dead on the ground. After hearing this, Taibao excitedly asked the old woman, where did Ah Zi die? The old woman pointed to the purple flowers beside the village. Taibao couldn't hold back and hurried to the front of the flower. He recognized at a glance that the kite-like flower was the woman who saved him. Taibao sobbed, recalling his wedding day, Taibao caressed the flowers and cried until he never woke up. Later, a temple was built where Taibao died. His name was Thirteen Taibao, ranking thirteenth. Purple flowers are everywhere in the temple. Because others don't know their names, they only remember that Taibao has been calling kites. The back of the kite is called iris, because it is purple, so it is called purple kite.
