Guangzhou Zhixin Middle School is referred to as Zhixin Middle School. Guangzhou Zhixin Middle School is a key middle school in Guangdong Province, a first-class school in Guangdong Province, and the first batch of national demonstration high schools in Guangdong Province. Guangzhou Zhixin Middle School was founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 192 1 in memory of the democratic revolutionary Mr. Zhu Zhixin.

The school motto was put forward by Mr. Lin Sen, the former school manager of Zhixin Middle School, who was the chairman of Guangdong Provincial Government and the later chairman of National Government in 1930s.
