At the foot of Tianshan Mountain, the "King of Canyon" discovered in 2002 is a primitive and wild natural wonder.

Aksu, Xinjiang, in this city famous for apples, there is a Wensu Tomur Grand Canyon, which has been quietly deposited for a long time and hidden in the boudoir. It was not until 2002 that it was discovered by accidental photographers and gradually entered the sight of travelers. Wensu Grand Canyon is developed late and has a special location. Although its face value is high enough and its strength is excellent, few people still go there, so it retains its wild and primitive natural wonders.

This time from northern Xinjiang to southern Xinjiang, I saw the scenery along the Duku Highway. When I came to Aksu, I thought I wouldn't be surprised casually. Before I arrived in Aksu, I was hit in the face by Wensu Tomco Grand Canyon. Although I have just seen Kuqa Grand Canyon, I can be in the middle of Wensu Ptolemy Grand Canyon, but there is no sign of aesthetic fatigue, and I can only feel the magic of nature.

Wensu Tolmu Grand Canyon is located in Kuduluke Mountain, Bozidun Township, Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture. It is a natural canyon under Tomur Peak, the main peak of Tianshan Mountain. Locals call it Kuduluk Grand Canyon, which means "thrilling and mysterious" in Uighur. The canyon consists of Kuduluke and Acic Su, two winding giant canyons, and hundreds of branches with different shapes and lengths. It is the largest red-bed canyon with the highest aesthetic value in the north and south of Tianshan Mountain, and is known as the "king of canyons".

▼ Geological wonders

The most beautiful Danxia geological wonder in western China, the largest rock salt karst geological wonder in China, the rare ancient rock salt geological wonder in China, the unique Ya Dan geological wonder in western China, and the unique rock dissolution geological mystery in China ... As the development scenic spot of timur World Natural Heritage Site in Tianshan Mountain, Xinjiang, Wensu timur Grand Canyon carries countless labels, each of which can be taken out separately. When these obscure labels gather in the Grand Canyon, they become a rare spectacle in the geological world.

Wensu Tomur Grand Canyon is a stratum deposited by inland lakes 26 million years ago, which was formed in Mesozoic Cretaceous more than 1 100 million years ago. It has been eroded by floods, rain and strong winds for hundreds of millions of years. The distribution of rock strata on the mountain wall of the canyon is squeezed to form folds, which overlap each other. Seen from a distance, it looks clear and layered. Time flies. During the long wind and rain erosion and geological changes, the Grand Canyon has formed five landforms: Danxia, Ya Dan, Ya Ya Dan, rock salt karst and unique salt dome bottom wedge structure, which embodies the complexity and diversity of crustal structure changes in Tianshan Mountain, and can be called the "Living Museum of Geological Evolution History" in Xinjiang.

Danxia, Ya Dan and Karst ... Each landform is a gift of time and a miracle of nature. When these landforms gather in the west, it is hard to imagine what kind of sparks will collide. And I can only feel the wonder of nature in front of these magnificent and wild landscapes, such as the source of life, the city of thousands of mountains, the kiss of gold and the stone hat canyon.

▼ The vastness of heaven and earth

I'll believe that when I see it. Although I have done my homework on the road and have a preliminary understanding of the status of the Grand Canyon in the geological world, I still have to really go into the Grand Canyon to find out. Or gallop at the bottom of the valley, or climb to the top of the mountain, and really walk into Wensu Tomur Grand Canyon, without thinking about the specific significance of these different peaks, and without going deep into what the Grand Canyon, which brings together five landforms, can summon in the geological world. I simply feel that under the Tomur Peak in Tianshan Mountain, the Grand Canyon is vast, wild and natural.

The day before the arrival, it was raining in Aksu. After a storm comes a calm, the red cliff in Wensu Grand Canyon is even more beautiful. However, this gorgeous red can't stop the vastness of the canyon. Riding in the canyon by car, the road is deserted. Only occasional off-road vehicles tell us that the Grand Canyon is now in an open state, and we are not the only ones between heaven and earth.

The grotesque stone peaks and columns stand in their original features under the carving of wind and rain, and look on coldly as human beings name them with redundant imagination and apply a set of legendary stories. However, standing in front of the stone pillars and looking up at them, you will know how short your stay is in their eyes. One mountain and one stone have already written a wordless story in time, telling the desolation and primitiveness, wildness and nature under Tomur Peak.

In the desolate canyon, under the holy snow-capped mountains, between the boundless heaven and earth, we can feel this natural desolation more. Even if you stand on the top of the mountain and overlook the city of Wanshan from God's perspective, you can't feel that the heroism of other mountains is dwarfed in the sky ... The visual shock is only a moment, and the deeper shock lies in your heart. I have never felt it so clearly. Even standing on the top of the mountain, timur Peak seems to be close at hand, and I dare not shout loudly. It turns out that I am so small in front of nature.

▼ Fear of life

In this vast world, desolation is his annotation, and nothing grows seems to be his natural destination. However, when a few wild flowers and weeds grow sporadically in this wasteland, people can't help but feel awe of nature and life.

Wensu Tomur Grand Canyon belongs to a warm temperate desert climate zone, with scarce precipitation, arid climate and poor soil. The climate in the Grand Canyon is harsh, but there are still more than 65,438+000 kinds of wild plants, such as rose, bell thorn, Capparis spinosa, Populus euphratica, Lycium barbarum, Robinia pseudoacacia, Iris purpurea and a few shrubs, Hu Yangshu and drought-tolerant halophytes. These tenacious plants add a touch of color to the desolation of the Grand Canyon.

It was early June when I came to the Grand Canyon, and I missed the spring flowers in the Grand Canyon. However, I can still see scattered blooming mountain flowers dotted with dark red wasteland. Those mountain flowers may not be beautiful, but they grow and bloom tenaciously in the desert in the west. Among the delicate flowers in the greenhouse, their vigorous vitality is unprecedented.
