Wang Haiming’s profile

Wang Haiming, born in April 1973, is from Linqu, Shandong Province. He graduated from Shandong Art Institute with a major in painting. He is currently the director of the Visual Art Guidance Center of the Shandong Art Museum, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, a director of the Shandong Young Artists Association, the deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Art Examination Professional Committee, and the executive deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Art Photography Society. He studied at the China Academy of Art, focusing on landscape, and received guidance from famous teachers. The works are based on traditional methods, learning from the past without being imitated by the past. They are sparse and elegant, with a distant artistic conception, blending emotions into the scenery, creating an ethereal, transparent, quiet and elegant artistic effect. His works have participated in many exhibitions and been widely published in domestic and foreign newspapers and magazines; they have been included in many collections of paintings. In 2009, Shandong Friendship Publishing House published "Quality of Ink Painting - Wang Haiming", and in 2010 Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published "Wang Haiming's Traditional Chinese Painting".
