Is your monthly income enough to cover your expenses?

It's not enough. I still live at home and eat at home.

My income this month is really low, almost catching up with the lowest per capita income in my city. I just graduated this year and work in a Japanese-funded enterprise. Although the work is not too heavy, the biggest problem is that the salary is too low. If I want to earn my own living in the city with this salary, I have to tighten my belt, let alone travel and eat. Even if you buy a dress, you have to think for a long time. If it is brand-name clothes, it is estimated that I will have to save a long time to afford it.

After I get rid of five insurances and one gold a month, I will be in my early 2000 s. If I get rid of rent, utilities and travel expenses, the salary of these two thousand is almost less than 1000, and the rest is spent on meals. At first, I ate in the canteen, which cost eight yuan per meal. This is lunch. Plus breakfast and dinner, the meal fee is about twenty to twenty-five yuan a day, and it is six to seven hundred yuan a month. There will always be some miscellaneous things to buy every month, just enough.

But these are all carefully calculated expenses. Many times, we are out of control in actual situations. It may be too much to buy a dress this month. Friends come, invite friends to dinner, and the money is gone. Every time at this time, I feel particularly failed, and I am more sorry for my parents. My parents were lucky enough to raise us, and as a result, we couldn't even support ourselves, let alone spend money on things to honor them.

I persisted for several months and then moved back home. Although it takes four or five hours to commute every day, it can save at least one month's rent and water and electricity. This will add nearly 1000 yuan per month. I can buy something for my parents and save more money every month. I can also see that I have some savings. I have to say that we still need to work hard to gain a foothold in this society.
