What is an industrial camera and what is the difference between it and a civilian camera?

Is it an industrial surveillance camera?

There are three levels of equipment in ordinary TV industry: broadcast level, professional level (or publishing level) and civilian level (or consumer level).

To put it simply, the main difference is the number of horizontal TV scanning lines, which are above -800 TV lines for broadcasting, from -800 TV lines to 500 TV lines for majors and below -500 TV lines for civil use. Of course, there are other parameters such as signal-to-noise ratio, differential gain, differential phase, K coefficient and so on.

If you want to know more, you can check these standards on the website of SARFT.

What the camera industry requires is to truly restore the shot scene. Industrial surveillance cameras are required to be able to shoot normally in specific environments, such as high temperature, high pressure, cold and high humidity. Generally speaking, it is only required to display clear pictures, sometimes even black and white pictures.
