Where are the strange dialects?

Guaiguai is the dialect of Xiangcheng District, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing and other places in Jiangsu.

Guaiguai is one of the local dialects in Xiangcheng District of Jiangsu Province, which is mainly distributed in Yangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing and other places in Jiangsu Province. Good words come from two sources. One is that local children are obedient, so they are called good boys. Another way of saying this is that the pronunciation of the word "root" in the local dialect is similar to that of "strange", so it is called strange words.

Guaiguai dialect is a dialect of central Mandarin, belonging to the northern dialect family. In addition to Xiangcheng District of Jiangsu Province, this dialect is also circulating in some surrounding counties and cities. However, as a local language, Guaguaihua has a narrow scope of use and is gradually influenced by Putonghua.

However, due to the promotion of language protection and cultural inheritance in recent years, more and more people begin to pay attention to and study the Guaiguai dialect, and gradually attach importance to and protect its characteristics and uniqueness.
