Step 1: Divide the product.

Disassemble each part that needs to be painted separately. In this way, the material and light of each part may be different. If you want to paint separately, you can also arrange layers separately, because there may be hundreds of layers after painting.

Draw the product shape in AI and copy it into PS (or in PS, I am used to using the pen tool in AI).

Step 2: Determine the light.

If the light is certain, you can simulate the lighting method taken by the studio:

Here, the tube body is mainly single-sided light, and the side auxiliary light is mainly used. There is no need to add a dome light to the tail sealing part, but it will make the product more stereoscopic and the bottle cap translucent. If you want to highlight the material, you need a lamp behind the product to create a sense of transparency.

It doesn't matter if you don't know how to shoot the lights, because there are few pure painting products. Even if you must draw, you can refer to the light of other people's renderings. Moreover, there are only a few lighting methods for product retouching, so it is good to know. Many times, we still retouch the pictures according to the products taken, and the light has been determined. Just repair the defects, add a few reflections, and increase the three-dimensional sense.

Step 3: Start painting.

There is no skill of drawing light, just hook the pen, and then carry out Gaussian fuzzy feathering and layer upon layer superposition. A light is not a layer, as low as possible, and several pictures are stacked, which will have a more holistic feeling if it is too much. This can be achieved by using layer styles, such as color filtering and positive overlay.

There are several ways to seal the end of the hose, such as single-line embossing, cross-embossing and arc sealing without embossing. This cross cover is drawn like this, 1 oblique highlight, a symmetrical oblique floating light, an oblique shadow and an oblique auxiliary shadow. Don't ask me how I know, I have the real thing, which is drawn by comparison.

The product is finished, but it is not finished yet. You need to add words. Adding words is very important. The product has been painted for so long, and the words are not pasted well, which is very poor visually.

In the past, brand design had to be mapped every day, so I summed up some experiences for everyone.

The last step: mapping, reflection and color matching.

This step is mainly the last step. The whole is perfect. If the color is wrong, you can adjust it as a whole, increase the contrast to make the product more stereoscopic, sharpen it to make the product clearer or something. There are pictures as usual.

The most important thing in mapping is the perspective relationship. If the perspective sticker is not good, the product will have a false feeling.

Needless to say, this kind of product is drawn, and the brightness of the font should be based on the light of the product. The reflection just reverses the deformation and fits the arc.

Sticking lazy skills: copy and merge the coated products, remove the color, improve the contrast, then put them on the blue layer at the bottom of the positive film, and then draw several high-gloss layers respectively. The text layer is also treated in this way.

One of the details to be noted is that because the product is round, the radian of the edge of the product is greater than the radian of the middle in perspective.
