Which route is the best from Jinan to Tibet by car? What do you need to prepare? What should I pay attention to?
I. Time
① Autumn
Autumn is the best travel time, roads are not often blocked by landslides caused by rainfall, and the oxygen content is higher than that in spring and summer. Many mountains on the Sichuan-Tibet line are colored at this time, which is the most beautiful season for friends who like photography.
② spring
Spring is the second good season. If we take the Sichuan-Tibet route, the blooming peach blossoms will murder many photographers' films.
③ rainy season
For those who like challenges, going to Tibet in rainy season can not only withstand the tests of many different road conditions, but also challenge people's willpower, which is very exciting and enjoyable.
Second, the road conditions
① Gravel road
Although the roads in Tibet are much better than before, many places are still dirt roads, gravel roads and washboard roads from Nyalam to Zhangmu, Bomi to Medog and Xinzang lines. If you want to go to these places, you'd better use AT tires. Our six-cylinder Cherokee sometimes takes these roads, but the AT tire just changed before departure is still very good, and there is no puncture or puncture (of course, luck is not ruled out).
② Dabei line
For self-drivers who take the Ali Dabei Line, the four-wheel drive is certain. It is also very important to judge the road accurately. You must take the direction with obvious rutting, otherwise it is not only easy for trucks, but also easy to take a fork in the road and circle.
③ Ice and snow road
After the middle of 10 of 65438, four-wheel drive vehicles need to bring snow chains to go to high altitude places such as Namco. Because there is basically snowfall in high-altitude areas at this time, there are many narrow places on the snowy road surface, and even some sections have cliffs on one side and cliffs on the other. Once sideslip occurs, the consequences are unimaginable.
There is an experience: prepare a bucket in the car. When you meet an icy road, pour water on the road. After getting on the bus, you will feel stuck, which will increase friction. It is no problem to live slowly. If necessary, you can also splash water on the tires.
Third, the model.
Many friends who are going to drive into Tibet will ask, what car is more suitable?
① suggestions
80. Mitsubishi is preferred. In fact, many cars can come in on the roads in Tibet now, but if you want to travel deeply, it must be a four-wheel drive off-road vehicle. Of course, there are also two-wheel drive Iveco bicycles riding the southern line of Ali to Xinjiang alone, which may depend on your skill and luck. Personally, as long as it is a four-wheel drive, it is no problem to go to Tibet. Our six-cut performance is good, but compared with 80, the comfort is much worse.
② Not recommended.
Cars such as Hummer and Land Rover are not recommended to go to Tibet.
First of all, the oil grade in Tibet is not enough, which is harmful to this kind of car that requires high oil quality.
Secondly, these models are rare in Tibet, and accessories are hard to find. Once there is something wrong with the car, either stop and wait for the parts or tow the car back.
Fourth, technology.
Because of the special environment, driving in Tibet is very different from driving in the mainland, so friends with good skills in track events should not be too confident, because track events are a combination of various road conditions, but after all, they are short distances.
① driving skills
When driving in Tibet, you often have to bump on dirt roads for more than ten hours, and some places have high altitudes. Many people have different degrees of altitude sickness, and their physical strength and energy consumption are very high. So don't drive too much at this time, don't let yourself be in a state of high load, and it is necessary to stop and take pictures at the right time to relieve yourself. If accompanied by the co-pilot, the co-pilot had better not sleep, look at the road more, and chat with the driver more, because someone is sleeping next to him, and the driver is easily sleepy. In Tibet, driving is sleepy and altitude sickness is terrible.
② Driving skills
There are many washboard roads in Tibet, so it is best to control the speed of driving on the washboard road above 60 mph to avoid feeling bumpy. When crossing the water, if the road is unfamiliar, don't take chances. It's best to hang a four-wheel drive.
The road of Medog does not seem too difficult for many four-wheel drive off-road people, but the average speed of many sections is basically around 10km, which is a great test for people's endurance, so the most important thing to drive on this road is to maintain a good attitude.
③ Experience technology
Driving experience in Tibet is very important. In mid-July, when we went to Yanghu, the car stalled on an uphill slope. A Tibetan driver told us that it is unrealistic to think of a trailer in a place with many bends and uphill. We can turn the car around, then press it down, start it, wait for the speed to rise, then turn around quickly and increase the throttle, so there will be no problem.
There is also a very strange phenomenon here. Driving in Tibet is more fuel efficient than driving in the mainland, but the engine is also weak and the power is obviously not as strong as that in the mainland. It may be altitude sickness caused by air pressure and oxygen content.
Verb (short for verb) attention
I went to Tibet for the first time
It is best to take rhodiola half a month in advance and take "Gaoyuan 'an" capsules after arrival. If you have dizziness and headache, taking a capsule of Serranodine and a capsule of Fenbid before going to bed can effectively relieve the symptoms.
② Smoking
According to many friends, smoking a cigarette when smokers are uncomfortable can prevent altitude sickness. (Personal opinion, for reference only)
③ altitude sickness
Once a friend's unit sent him and his colleagues to meet a mainland leader at the airport. When I arrived at the airport, I found that my oxygen bag was not full. In an emergency, he and his colleagues inflated the oxygen bag with their mouths, hoping that the leader would not need oxygen. Not long after the leader got on the bus, the leader said that he had altitude sickness and needed oxygen. Neither of them dared to say anything, but handed the oxygen bag to the leader. The leader took a few sips and said, "It's much better now". It can be seen from this true story that altitude sickness is often related to psychological factors rather than physical factors.
④ certificate
You'd better get your passport and border card locally before you leave. Many friends who went to Tibet wanted to go to Nepal temporarily, but they gave up because they didn't bring their passports. Many places in Tibet need border permits, and the local application procedures are complicated. Travel agencies generally charge a handling fee of about 100 yuan, while local applications only require a deposit of 10 yuan.
