How to use the HDR function of 5D3?

Only one photo taken next uses HDR, or all subsequent photos use HDR.

The fourth option is very important.

: Automatic calibration mode. If turned on, the camera will automatically correct the slight position difference when combining photos with different exposures. It is recommended to turn on.

First, open the third page of the shooting menu-HDR mode.

The first is the Adjust Dynamic Range tab. Because HDR takes pictures in a special way, I suggest readers use a tripod to fix the camera, so that the images taken will be clearer.

Next is the effect selection. The default is to turn off HDR, and then you can choose automatic. You can choose different styles according to your own preferences.

5D3 has built-in HDR effects of different styles.

The next option is to choose a relief painting style, and the camera will automatically make multiple exposures. When you are familiar with this function, you can manually select the range of plus or minus 1EV to plus or minus 3EV to determine the intensity of HDR. Canon EOS 5D Mark III has built-in HDR function, which can continuously shoot 1EV. Even if you shoot with a tripod, it will bring tiny displacement because of the rapid vibration of the mirror, so if you want to get high-quality images, please choose to turn it on.

The last option is used to control the image storage mode, which is divided into natural and standard painting styles according to the HDR degree.
