When I came to the flower field, I saw butterflies flying among the flowers, and a faint lavender fragrance came to my nose. In addition to lavender and verbena planted in a large area, there are more than 20 kinds of flowers in the park, such as moth butterfly flower, Icelandic corn poppy, rape flower, February orchid, blue mustard, peony, Isatis indigotica, cosmos, Jin Ju and amaranth. It is said that more than 50 kinds of flowers are blooming all year round.

Liu Hui recalled that in the past, large areas of pits, wasteland and garbage dumps were all caused by sand and gravel mining, and the environment was messy. Around 2000, most of the land was afforested, forming a production and management pattern of green fodder planting and landscape greening, but the economic benefit was very low. Since 20 13, Lugouqiao Farm has accelerated the industrial transformation and upgrading, complied with the development of the capital's functional orientation, focused on the main business, innovated and developed, paid attention to the deep integration of modern agriculture and modern service industry, combined with the ecological restoration planning and development characteristics of Yongding River, comprehensively sorted out the land under the planning, moved from traditional agriculture to modern urban sightseeing and leisure agriculture, served the capital, afforested and beautified, improved the environmental quality and protected the Yongding River ecosystem.

From the beginning of the planning, the effective and intensive utilization of land resources of agricultural reclamation enterprises was established, and the "two axes, one ring and five districts" were constructed. The two axes are two landscape galleries, one vertical and one horizontal, which are the development axes of the park. The first ring: the leisure landscape around the lake forest runs through the plain afforestation area and blends with the wetland landscape, which is an important ecological green landscape ring; Five major areas: romantic flower sea area, dining and leisure area, folk holiday area, outdoor development area and Linhai oxygen bar area. It has formed a three-level regional construction system of the core protection area, construction control area and peripheral protection buffer area of Shounongzi Valley Eden.

Based on the sustainable development concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, the first agricultural Zigu Garden of Eden always insists on environmental quality, resource protection and ecological measures as the important contents of its work, and strives to build a park with pure natural resources, and implements the concept of organic collocation of arbor, shrub, vine, grass and flowers, so as to make it naturally, reasonably and widely distributed, enrich plant species and create a four-season landscape, with a green coverage rate of 89.44%. At the same time, a large number of new technologies and equipment for saving agriculture, recycling agriculture and ecological agriculture should be used in the park. The Science and Technology Innovation Base of the Key Laboratory of Urban Agriculture (North China) of the Ministry of Agriculture was established. Through various agricultural technical measures, an uninterrupted flower sea was formed in the open field in Beijing from April to early October. The coverage rate of improved varieties is over 95%, the effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water is 0.85, the whole production process is basically mechanized, the straw returning rate reaches 100%, and the qualified rate of agricultural products quality inspection is 65%.

After several years of planning and construction, today's Shounong Zigu Garden of Eden has become a new agricultural park with sky blue, clear water, green grass and beautiful flowers. The environment of the park complements the surrounding environment and the scenery is harmonious, forming a beautiful skyline around the park and becoming another modern urban agricultural park with beautiful scenery along the Yongding River.
