Zhao's Beauty of the Yellow River Wetland

This is a wetland full of magical and dreamy colors.

Flocks of different birds flew overhead. With their elegant posture and sweet songs, they add a lively atmosphere to this wetland, showing birth and vitality. Some of these lovely spirits fluctuate between the blue sky and the river, stretching like clouds; Some sing loudly, no one is watching; Some prey and play leisurely; Others stood quietly in the treetops, looking into the distance, as if welcoming you ... This is a vivid life scene I saw in the Yellow River Wetland National Nature Reserve in Jin Meng, Henan Province in early autumn.

Winding along the wooden plank road leading to the wetland, you will see Shui Bo and reeds. The sun shines on the water, sparkling. The lotus flowers in the water are blooming brightly, and the butterflies among them are dancing and full of poetry. Suddenly, two egrets rose from the reeds, and they swept gracefully across the sky. This egret is dazzling white, draws an arc in mid-air, with a moist breath, permeated with poetry everywhere, and then glides against the wetland. Snow-white feathers make my eyes bright in an instant.

Autumn is the most beautiful season in Jin Meng Yellow River Wetland. The clumps of green bristlegrass swaying gently in the wind around us show tenacity and tenacity. There are waves on the reeds, and the tall reeds stand side by side, uneven and full of charm. The colors of reeds are also different, some change from lavender to pink, until the white reeds are in full bloom, and the snow usually adheres to the thin and soft stems, as if it were blown gently by the wind, and it would spread out leisurely. Looking around, reeds are as white as snow. When the wind blows, reeds fall in succession and then fly freely under the blue sky.

All kinds of flowers and trees here, high or low, sparse or dense, grow freely and naturally, with few traces of artificial carving. The open waters and numerous beaches have bred abundant aquatic animals and plants, creating activities, foraging and hidden habitats for waterfowl.

A few chirps in my ear broke the silence of the wetland. Looking inside, a pair of vigorous demoiselle cranes hover in the sun, with beautiful wings like fairies, and their voices are sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes stirring, sometimes melodious, just like nature. I stopped and hurriedly took the high-powered telescope from the wetland staff. I saw these two demoiselle cranes gliding slowly from the sky on the grass not far away, strolling leisurely for food, and one of them danced. The demoiselle crane is petite and exquisite in size, elegant in manners and somewhat shy and gentle in temperament, so it is called "Mrs. Crane". Most demoiselle cranes are slate gray, with a long white feather on each side of the cheek, black feathers on the front neck and chest, and a needle-like Kuroha on the upper chest. The demoiselle crane is very alert, and it is difficult for people to get close to it, so they can only secretly observe it through high-powered telescopes. The demoiselle crane is the smallest crane in the world, and it requires high quality of ecological environment. At the slightest sign of trouble, these lovely creatures will soar and drift away until they disappear from your sight.

Wetland is a paradise for many animals and plants, especially waterfowl. Birds gather in Qi Fei all year round, and they sing in harmony. Every spring and autumn, flocks of large waterfowl fly from distant Siberia and other places to the United States and Australia on the other side of the ocean. Their migration scene is very spectacular. The wetland manager told me that the total area of the reserve is10.5 million hectares and the core area is 3,500 hectares. There are 259 species of birds recorded in * * *, and rare birds such as black stork, oriental white stork, flamingo, black goose and wart-nosed swan have appeared in the nature reserve. More than 654.38+million birds live and breed here, including black stork.

The words of the wetland staff reminded me of an autumn many years ago. Friends who like photography invited me to the Yellow River Wetland and told me that I could see rare birds in the Yellow River Wetland when I was lucky. However, several hours passed and I didn't get it until dusk. I feel a little lost in my heart, but my friend said that this is normal and may be more common in the future. Thankfully, it has now become a paradise for birds to live and inhabit. People live in harmony with nature, and people and birds have become real good friends.

In the wetland, I also saw several fields planted with wheat and rice, which were originally intended for raising birds. Every year 10 months later, the vast wetland has become a holiday destination for all kinds of migratory birds, and many birds land or take off here every day. Those rare birds that migrate from far away, such as brown cranes, white swans and white cranes, are in urgent need of filling their hungry stomachs because of their long journey. Although there is a large area of water here, there are countless aquatic animals such as fish and shrimp in the water, but they are not as real as this mature crop. Birds can quickly replenish their physical strength and restore their spirits. Various insects in nature reserves also provide good food sources for birds. Therefore, * * * specially allocated funds to supplement local farmers, so that they can eat as many kinds of crops as possible in the reserve. For ecological protection, Mengjin County has taken great pains. No wonder more and more migratory birds will take this place as an ideal habitat.

Unconsciously, the afterglow of the sunset filled the wetland, like orange satin. A few beautiful bird songs awakened my dreamlike thoughts. I think of the famous writer Thoreau. He enjoyed the wonderful dawn and dusk by Walden Lake, communicating with nature and talking with his heart. This quiet beauty is really desirable. Who doesn't want to walk leisurely in this realm?

Crowds of birds hover back and forth in the sky, and some birds wander on shallow beaches, flapping their wings and dancing on the water, chasing the water and singing heartily. Everything is so vivid and charming. Nature's ingenious pen draws a quiet, beautiful and spectacular picture.

The world is quiet and birds are smart. The beauty of dynamic and static combination is the unique beauty of the Yellow River wetland in Jin Meng.
