What procedures are required to apply for a visa at the Korean Embassy by yourself?

1. South Korea Tourist Visa

The Korean Tourist Visa is a multiple-entry visa valid for 1 year. The maximum stay is 30 days. The processing cycle takes 3-5 working days, and no interview is required when applying.

2. Information that needs to be submitted

1 Passport: The passport is valid for at least six months after returning to the country. The last page of the passport must be signed in Chinese (do not sign with pencil); There should be at least 2 consecutive blank visa pages, excluding the remarks page.

If you have an old passport, please provide the original together with it.

2. Photos: 2 2-inch (3.5cmx4.5cm) color photos with white background taken within half a year (signature on the back of the photo).

3. ID card: A copy of the front and back of the ID card.

4. Household registration book: A copy of the entire household registration book (printed from the first page to the first blank page)

5. Fund certificate

The following Choose 2 from 4 materials to provide: (Family members can use asset certificates, retired people can use property certificates of children or spouses, students and infants can use parents’ property certificates, and husband and wife property certificates can be used, but they need to be provided separately. Materials to prove kinship: copy of marriage certificate/copy of household registration book/copy of birth certificate. Students must also submit a copy of student ID or certificate of enrollment issued by the school):

a. Last 6 months Credit card statement (average monthly consumption is more than 1k);

b. Original personal income tax certificate;

c. Social insurance payment certificate; (including: pension insurance/medical insurance /Unemployment insurance/provident fund/comprehensive insurance for migrant workers, etc., select at least one of them);

d. Display bank card transaction records of monthly salary income (display "name/date/account number/bank name" , the salary part is underlined).
