How to shoot the SLR night scene?
Equipment: tripod, camera, wired release or wireless shutter.
You need a tripod to shoot the night scene, so you can shoot a completely different scene without a tripod. I also brought a wireless shutter to better match the use of the tripod.
Location: When shooting night scenes, you must choose a good composition, so that landmark buildings or distinctive buildings, such as bridges, can be used as a focus of the picture. The best shooting angle should be the commanding god's perspective, and your position can be arranged on the roof or the top of the mountain, with a fast and wide field of vision. I chose the plank road on the mountain as the shooting location.
Time: Many people think that the best time to shoot the night scene is when the lights are turned on, because at this time, the outline and color of the building can be vaguely recognized. In my opinion, if there are clouds changing in the sky of the city at this time, it is indeed the best time, but if the sky of the city is gray and has no characteristics, it is better to wait until nightfall, when the sky is completely dark and the background is purer, and the outline of the city is completely composed of artificial light sources. It also has a unique charm. Let me remind you that if you are shooting a bridge, you should pay attention to the fact that the lights on the bridge may go out after 1 1 pm or 12 pm, so it is very important to grasp the shooting time, depending on the actual situation. Later, I will also talk about the night scenes at 9 pm and 5 am.
Shooting parameters: Aperture priority or M file is recommended for shooting mode. I like to shoot in the M file at night. I will get different effects by constantly trying different parameter combinations. ISO sensitivity is generally set as low as possible. It is generally said in books and textbooks that 800- 1600 is better for noise reduction, but I usually set it to 100, and then I can get a normal exposure picture through a long shutter time. According to the lighting situation on the spot, the exposure time is generally 20-40 seconds, which actually has a good effect. I always use a small aperture when shooting at night.
Above, there are shooting ideas and shooting parameters:
Shooting idea: Take the bridge as the main body and shoot the night view of the city on both sides of the bridge.
Shooting time: 2 1: 00 aperture: f/ 18 shutter: 30ISO: 100m.
Shooting time: 2 1: 30 aperture: f/22 shutter: 25ISO:100 m file.
Shooting idea: shoot the traffic track on the main road of the city, showing the endless traffic on the road, in contrast with the surrounding static buildings, and in contrast with the colors. The first photo was taken at 9: 00 pm, and the second photo was taken at 5: 00 am. The biggest difference is that at 5: 00 am, the lights on the building and the tracks of traffic flow are much less, but the lights on the picture will not be so messy.
Shooting time: 2 1: 30 aperture: f/32 shutter: 30siso:100 m.
Shooting time: 5: 20 Aperture: f/
