MFA application conditions
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Personal statement or goal statement: a goal statement of 250 to 500 words, mainly writing the reasons for your application and the expected goals in your study.
Note: All application materials will eventually be owned by SVA and will not be returned.
Resume: Applicants are required to submit a resume, including relevant experience of art major, such as research done, awards won, works exhibited, etc.
Official transcripts: applicants are required to provide official transcripts during their studies in universities or colleges; Transcripts must be sealed by the school where the students attend and put in an unopened envelope, and submitted together with other application materials; Foreign university transcripts must be translated into English and converted into American scores.
Letter of recommendation: Applicants for all projects (except MFA design, social innovation and MPS fashion photography) must submit three letters of recommendation from tutors or practicing professionals.
Please note: Applicants for MPS fashion photography project only need to submit two letters of recommendation. Applicants for social innovation projects designed by MFA do not need to submit letters of recommendation.

Criticize art and writing
Writing sample: A printed writing sample of 2,500 to 3,000 words is required. The content is related to the students' research direction. Encourage the submission of published papers and articles.

Art therapy major

Critical Theory and Art

MFA social innovation design
Option 1: communication design, product design, 3D and interactive design, data visualization and system design. Digital photography major
Picture combination is the most important part of your application. It should represent the working style, concept and implementation of 1-3 photographic cohesion group. Pictures may come from digital or original movies.

The pixel width or height of a digital image must be between 2000 and 3000.
