Meeting photography skills

First, the first point is to be familiar with the process.

1, ready to shoot.

First of all, you need to know the content of the meeting in advance, and conduct on-the-spot investigation on the size, lighting, location of the guests and the location of your own shooting, so as to draft and determine the content to be filmed. Prepare the necessary camera equipment and fully charge the DV battery the day before the meeting.

2. Official shooting

At the beginning of the meeting, the host announced the beginning of the meeting, all the participants applauded, and the guests on the rostrum. The camera should pay attention to panning and switching, and the speed should not be too fast. When shooting at the venue, we should pay attention to choosing a good angle to make the theme and characters of the meeting stand out. Generally, it is better to shoot from a wide angle, and it is best to use a tripod. For important speakers, we should use full-length or half-length close-up pictures. When shooting, the subject should be located in the center of the shooting picture to avoid distracting the guests.

The meeting is over.

At the end of the meeting, you should first take a photo of the rostrum, then slowly pull it off the stage, and finally take a photo of the participants walking out of the meeting.

Second, pay attention to the main points

1, some meetings will use projectors, which limits our DV shooting ability, because CCD or CMOS photosensitive elements used in general DV are not very effective in the case of light interference, sometimes there will be color imbalance and the picture effect is not ideal, so we should pay attention to adjusting the white balance. In addition, if possible, you can try to use camera lights, so that you can also achieve good shooting results in meetings using projectors;

2. Pay attention to the slow change of the picture when shooting the meeting to highlight the serious atmosphere of the meeting. Don't change the scene quickly at will, and don't use the zoom lens frequently, so as not to give people a dazzling feeling;

You can turn the picture to the audience when the speaker is handing over, but if the audience happens to be taking a nap or whispering, you must pay attention to "no discussion"!

4. Because the shooting of the press conference is mostly pictures with relatively small movements, sound is the main point of view, so we must pay attention to the clear recording of sound. When shooting, aim the microphone of the camera at the speaker through the extension cord, which can make the recording clearer and the theme more prominent. However, be careful not to let the pickup device of the camera get too close to the speaker system at the venue, otherwise it will produce harsh screams. Remember;

5. When shooting large-scale conference scenes such as awards and awards, it is best to use external photographic lights. Don't trust some "night shooting" functions of DV too much, otherwise the picture will be weak under the lighting of the venue, which will affect the shooting effect;

6. Meetings generally take a long time, and most of them require full recording, so it is best to shoot with a tripod, and it is best to have enough video tapes and batteries, otherwise you may miss some scenes of the meeting;

7. In the conference report with poor images, you can use the clip-and-paste lens to cut the images out of the meeting place to enhance the expressive power of the images. Of course, if your post-editing ability is good, you can also switch some related pictures, so that the whole meeting will have the seriousness of the documentary without boring the audience.
