First, the nature of the course and the requirements of the setting

This course is a compulsory course for digital media art majors. Using digital cameras and peripheral equipment, starting with digital cameras and combining with peripheral equipment, the common equipment and related theoretical knowledge of digital image processing are described. Through the study of this course, students can initially master the basic knowledge and skills of digital photography equipment needed for digital media art work.

Second, the course content and assessment requirements

The use of digital cameras and peripherals is divided into eight chapters, which are generally divided into three parts, namely, image input system, image processing system and image output system. The image input system describes digital cameras and scanners, the image processing system describes computers and their representative software PHOTOSHOP, and the image output system describes devices such as recorders and printers.

The general requirements for learning this course are: in the basic stage, let students know the formation and development of digital camera technology, the difference and connection with traditional photography, and the application of digital photography technology; In the second stage, let students understand the classification and imaging principle of digital cameras and master the methods and skills of using digital cameras; In the third stage, let students know the working principle and skills of digital cameras and peripheral devices, so that they can edit and process photographic works with computer graphics and image-aided programs.
