Department of Photography, Nanguang College, Communication University of China, is now the Photography College of Nanguang College, Communication University of China. In September, 2007, Nanguang College of Communication University of China expanded and established the Department of Photography on the basis of the original Department of Radio and Television and the Department of Art Communication, which consisted of three majors: photography, television photography and lighting art. In July, 201/kloc-0, it was transformed into the School of Photography. The Institute of Photography has 33 faculty members, including 23 full-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, there are 4 professors, 2 associate professors, 1 lecturer 10 and 7 teaching assistants. The ratio of professional title structure is 2: 1:4:2, which is reasonable. In terms of education, there are 22 teachers with master's degree or above, including doctor 1 person, accounting for 95.6% of the total, and more than 50% of the teachers have working experience in media units. The hospital has four teaching and research sections: photo photography, TV photography, lighting art and digital imaging, and the teaching and research work is carried out in an orderly manner. Photography is one of the earliest majors in the school, and enrollment began in 2004. The orientation of talent training in our college is "to cultivate applied and innovative talents with professional skills in photography and lighting to meet the needs of the times and the market", and this principle is integrated into the teaching work of curriculum system, curriculum content, teaching methods and teaching facilities. On the basis of solid theoretical teaching, we pay attention to practice and cultivate students' multi-skills to meet the needs of the all-media era. Since 2007, the college has adopted the undergraduate teaching mode of "four in one, paying equal attention to six lines" and gradually matured through continuous construction. The coverage and functions of these four platforms are different. Practice has proved that it can effectively affect students' phased learning. In the vertical design of the curriculum, our college has implanted six clues in the four-year curriculum system, focusing on cultivating students' abilities in six aspects. With the introduction of talents, the Institute of Photography has made continuous progress in teaching, scientific research, practical creation, facility construction, discipline structure adjustment and improvement.
