Jingshan Park or the Temple of Heaven, which is worth visiting?

It's worth a visit.

Tiantan Park ranks first among the four major altars in Beijing. It is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed to heaven for a bumper harvest every year. It is as old as the Forbidden City, but its area is nearly four times that of the Forbidden City, with a total area of about 2.7 million square meters, which is divided into an inner altar and an outer altar. The outer altar is lush with cypresses and surrounds the inner altar, which makes the main buildings look more solemn and magnificent.

Don't forget to go to the echo wall to experience the magic of sound transmission from a distance while punching cards and taking pictures at the Hall of Prayer for the New Year. Two people stood behind the East-West Annex Hall, whispering against the wall. Although they are far apart, they can still hear each other clearly.

Jingshan Park is a park on the central axis of Beijing, located on the north side of Shenwumen, the north gate of the Forbidden City. Jingshan Park is dominated by Jingshan Mountain, with lush pines and cypresses, and peony is introduced from all over the country.

The "Wanchun Pavilion" in the park is the highest point in old Beijing, and it is a must for tourists to visit Jingshan Park. Here, they can overlook the whole urban area of Beijing, the Forbidden City and Beihai Park. It is a good place for photography, so it has the reputation of "the first shooting range in Beijing". Take a photo with the Forbidden City, don't miss it here!
