Still life photography, how to get rid of the same style?

It's a good idea to add some creativity to still life photography. Scattered coffee, splashing or rising steam are perfect supplements to make the image lifelike. How about adding soluble flowers or fruits to still life photos? In this photography tutorial, we will do this!

The equipment you need is also very simple. You need a camera, tripod and any light source suitable for shooting splash. As far as I'm concerned, these are two flashlights, a big diffuser and a reflector. Let's get started!

For the shooting skills of still life photography, you can shoot according to the following shooting skills:

First, prepare to shoot still life photography props

Second, the color of mixed pigments

Third, shoot still life composition

Fourth, lighting.

Verb (short for verb) shoot.

Sixth, post-processing.

1. Prepare to shoot still life photography props

Collect all necessary photographic props. If the weight of the object is not enough to make it stand in the water, please make sure it stands in the right position. You can stick flowers on the bottle to prevent them from falling.

Mixed pigment color

Use water to reduce the density of acrylic resin and mix colors to achieve shadows that match the theme color.

3. Shoot the composition of still life

Make a simple composition for your shooting, make room for colorful clouds, and then slowly fill the aquarium with water.

4. Lighting

The scene is illuminated by lights set to low power (power ranges from 1/8 to1128). One of them is placed on the right side of the aquarium, and the second one is placed above the aquarium. The light source is also used as the background, and a reflector is installed on the left side to soften the shadow.

shoot

Set the camera to continuous shooting mode to take multiple photos in succession. Spray a little paint on the back of the main body with a syringe. Try to make sure that the pigment touches it, but does not enter the foreground. When the pigment produces beautiful clouds, take several photos in succession.

6. Post-processing

Choose the best photo and retouch it a little. You can add some details from other images to enhance color and contrast, and you can also eliminate any random dust and scratches.

This is the effect after shooting:
