Grain Rain's life story

Gu Yu, formerly known as Li Guiying, used to be named Zhou Shuzhen, Liming and Wang Zhiyuan. 19 18 12 was born in Tianchang county, Anhui province (now Tianchang city). Father Li Xingtai is a small businessman, dealing in incense sticks and groceries. Mother Zhou wants to cultivate a promising person and educate her to be self-reliant and literate, instead of cooking with her children, so she is very strict with her. After finishing primary school in Tianchang, Li Guiying entered Tianchang Middle School to attend junior high school, and then went to Anqing, the provincial capital, to attend senior high school in the No.1 Girls' Middle School. It was rare to send a girl out to study in her hometown at that time.

The teaching quality of Tianchang Middle School is high. Because the principal Xuan Xiaoqiu is the director of the Education Department of Anhui Province, Tianchang Middle School has a high status in Anhui Province. In the late 1920 s and early 1930 s, Tianchang Middle School had an underground organization of the production party. Xuan Xiaoqiu sympathized with the revolution and was tolerant of all kinds of ideas. If there are many progressive books in the school library, when the inspector comes to inspect the library, Xuan Xiaoqiu tries to cover up the past. There are some progressive teachers and students in the school. Li Guiying was influenced by their thoughts and read progressive books. She is one of the three progressive girls in the school.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/933, Li Guiying entered Anhui No.1 Girls' Middle School to attend high school. At that time, Japanese imperialism occupied Jehol province. 1June, 934, Tianchang County Youth League was destroyed by the Kuomintang secret service, and Li Guiying's classmates and friends were also arrested. When the news reached Anqing, she was full of thoughts. 1934 During the summer vacation, Li Guiying was transferred from Anhui No.1 Middle School to Beiping Anhui Middle School. Half a year later, Anhui Middle School was closed due to financial difficulties. According to the Chinese teacher, there was a teacher named Sun in Beiping No.1 Middle School, and his thoughts improved, so at the beginning of 1935, he transferred to Beiping No.1 Middle School to study in Grade Two (the second semester).

Sun is from Tongcheng, Anhui. The former headmistress of No.1 Female Middle School was arrested for leading the anti-Japanese movement of No.1 Female Middle School in the "September 18th Incident". After she was rescued and returned to school, she was dismissed from the post of principal and stayed in school as a Chinese teacher. In class, Sun often publicizes progressive ideas to students and often talks about current events. Therefore, taking the initiative to approach her is often influenced by Sun's thoughts and occasionally gets financial help from Sun. The ideological influence from Mr. Sun is mainly: "Women should be liberated and the nation should be liberated."

Guo (now Guo) is a senior one student and a member of the Communist Youth League. Li Guiying and she lived in the same room and had close contact. 1935, 10, Guo introduced menstruation and joined the youth league. Since then, he has helped Guo edit Women of the Times. Guo writes the manuscript and Li proofreads it. Only a few issues were published, and then they were considered "colored" and stopped publishing. Guo also introduced Zhou Huaiqiu (later renamed Zhou) of Normal University. He once participated in the work of Xicheng District of the Anti-Japanese Armed Self-Defense Association in charge of Zhou, and secretly publicized the anti-Japanese and national salvation in No.1 Middle School. In the "December 29" movement, I mainly participated in school activities, and then worked for Guo's student union.

1936 65438+ 10, Guo went to work in the provincial party Committee and was introduced to the relationship between Li and Lao Xia (later renamed). In the autumn of that year, the League was revoked, and all the members were transferred to party member. The party age was counted from the time of joining the League. At this time, Lao Xia transferred Li's relationship to the old hole of the "Iron Commission" (namely Wu De) as a liaison. After that, she left the student sports work. At the end of the year, Beiping Branch will be established by Beifang Bureau. According to Wu De's instructions, Li Guiying and Ai-Huang Min were asked to pretend to be husband and wife and live in the office, where they worked as wax carving boards and delivering documents. Later, the fake couple announced their marriage and became real lovers.

After the Lugouqiao Incident, the authorities stopped working because of the tense situation. Li Guiying and Huang Aimin moved into Shaanxi Guild Hall, cleaned and sold things, burned and buried books, and waited for the organization to decide where to go. At the end of July, Wu De informed Ai and Yan 'an in Shaanxi Guild Hall, asking them to meet Yang at the Eighth Route Army office first. On August 6th, 1937, Tianjin was opened to traffic. Li Guiying, Huang Aimin, Wang Boyuan and Wang Jiazeng set foot on the train to Tianjin as exiled students. There are two Japanese soldiers with bayonets in each trunk. Seeing the bodies of China people floating along the Yongding River, the students choked back their anger. The next day, I entered the French Concession, lived in a middle school, and was received by the Peiping Homecoming Association. The reunion also organized exiled students to board the coal-carrying seagoing vessel of Swire Company in Britain, preparing to go to Shanghai. As the Japanese army attacked Shanghai on August 13, the ship had to call at Yantai. But Shandong warlords refused to let the students go ashore, so the students were forced to stay at Hutou Rock Beach in Shandong for one night, and then went to Jinan by truck. I heard that there are two trains in Jinan, one to Xi and the other to Nanjing. Li Guiying and Wang Boyuan both want to go home and have a look. So they went to Nanjing by train. Li Guiying and Ai Huangmin spent three days in their hometown from Nanjing, and then rushed back to Nanjing to catch the train of Xi 'an. Arrived in Ann at the end of August, but Yang has gone to the front and can't get in touch. Fortunately, I met Zhou and He in the office of the Eighth Route Army in Beiping. After their introduction, I left Xi in mid-September and arrived in Yan 'an on 10 in early June.

After Li Guiying arrived in Yan 'an, he was assigned by the Central Organization Department to study in Shanbei Public School. 1938 1 After graduation, he was assigned by the Central Organization Department to work in the Social Department of Shaanxi Anwubao Youth Training Course. The youth training course, namely "short-term training course for wartime youth", is headed by Zhu De as honorary director, Feng Wenbin as director and Hu Qiaomu as deputy director. After graduation, the students of the youth training class were sent to Kangda, Shanbei College and the Central Party School. Is the primary class of China * * * production party to train cadres. A large number of talented young people have been trained here, and many of them have become the backbone of the revolution. Li Guiying rejoined the Party here and was transferred to the women's company as an instructor. 1938 July transferred to the Northwest Youth Salvation Association and assigned to teach in a middle school. During this period, he divorced Huang Aimin. 1939 1 month, returned to Anwubao youth training class and worked as an assistant of art company.

1April, 939, Li Feng was transferred back to Yan 'an. A month later, Hu Qiaomu and I got married. They met at the youth training class in Anwubao, when they were members of the Central Youth Working Committee in Yan 'an.

Hu Qiaomu, formerly known as Hu Dingxin, was later renamed as Hu Qiaomu. The name "arbor" comes from a poem in The Book of Songs Xiaoya Logging: "Move from the valley to the arbor", which means tall and straight. When they got married, Hu Qiaomu changed Li Guiying's name to Grain Rain according to the same poem. Feather refers to a bird, and "Grain Rain" refers to a bird that "came from the valley and moved to the tree". The two have the same name, expressing their deep affection for each other. From then on, Grain Rain and Qiao Mu "sang and supported each other for more than fifty years" (Hu Qiaomu gave Grain Rain a poem).

Shortly after their marriage, Grain Rain was assigned to the party member Training Course of the Central Organization Department. During this period, Wu De, who came to Yan 'an for a meeting, proved to the Central Organization Department through Wu De that the cadre department of the Central Organization Department announced the restoration of Grain Rain's party membership during his stay in Peiping. In June, after graduating from the training class of the Party School, Grain Rain was assigned to study in a women's university. On September 1939 and 10, Japanese planes bombed Yan 'an and hit the cave where Grain Rain lived. She immediately lost consciousness and was taken to the central hospital. After waking up, I realized that the eardrum of my left ear was shattered and my left arm and head were injured. The explosion killed dozens of people, only two survived. Gu Yu is one of them, but he has a headache. During her study in a women's university, she dropped out of school because of a recurrence of headache.

194 1 Since February, Hu Qiaomu has been the secretary of Mao Zedong and transferred to Yang Jialing, and Grain Rain moved with her. Grain Rain used to work in the Central Reference Room. After the central government launched a mass production campaign, Yang Jialing set up a supply store. Grain Rain is the director of the supply store, dealing in food and daily necessities. Although it was a supply system at that time, cadres also had some pocket money; It is also because in the mass production movement, women still keep the change from spinning and weaving. In this way, the supply store is not only convenient for cadres and the masses, but also a very primary form of trade to promote production and activate the economy. From April 1944 to May 1946, Grain Rain didn't have a formal job during his stay in Zaoyuan, mainly taking care of arbor life and two children.

1May, 946, Grain Rain flew to northern Jiangsu to participate in land reform after being introduced and approved by Ren. At this time, however, Chiang Kai-shek, the Kuomintang, launched a full-scale civil war from June 26, when he laid siege to the Central Plains Liberated Area.

Grain Rain participated in the land reform in northern Jiangsu and returned to his hometown in Tianchang at the end of June. But she had just arrived home for two days, and because of the tense situation, Yan' an immediately telegraphed back. She left Tianchang in the rain that night. Going to Shandong, Shandong liberated area is also a war-torn, traffic cut off, and trapped in Linyi County.

When the enemy besieged Dabie Mountain, the fifth division of the New Fourth Army broke through and arrived in Yan 'an. More than 40 family members of cadres at or above the regimental level. The organization department of East China Bureau decided to entrust Grain Rain to take these families to Yan 'an to find relatives. Grain Rain is the party branch secretary of this family team.

1 946 65438+February1,the family members dressed as ordinary people, set out from Linyi, took a truck driven by Japanese prisoners, and went to Tai 'an through Yimeng Mountain at night. Starting from Tai 'an on foot, passing through Handan and Shexian, marching between Jiexiu and Pingyao in Shanxi. This place has to cross the blockade line in the Kuomintang-controlled area 100, and there is a turret every 2 kilometers along the Tongpu Railway. Family members were escorted by the Eighth Route Army troops who sent munitions. They fought and ran, running up the mountain and across the Fenhe River overnight, and finally crossed the blockade. During the whole trip, Grain Rain asked himself to be strict, and let his nephew do the heavy work and the work of acting as an advance party. This "March" sometimes takes 100 miles a day. The whole journey passes through four provinces and 22 counties, with a journey of 3,000 miles, and it takes three months to reach Yan 'an until February 23rd 1947. Gu Yu is not a Qiang Bing, not an organized army, but a common people, the wife of a soldier, and his journey is unimaginable.

When we arrived in Yan 'an, Yan 'an was already being evacuated. On March 1947, 13, there were 50 sorties of Kuomintang planes, which bombarded Yan 'an indiscriminately for eight hours. Mao Zedong decided to take the initiative to evacuate Yan 'an. Grain Rain didn't have a rest, so she arranged the children to the central and rear organs in northwest Shanxi, and went to the Hao Jiapo Land Reform Group to participate in the land reform. And Hu Qiaomu had already been ordered to go to Longdong to participate in land reform. It was not until last winter that Grain Rain got to know Hu Qiaomu after the land reform. /kloc-0 moved to Xibaipo village, Pingshan county, Hebei province with the central government in April, 948. At this time, Hu Qiaomu, in addition to serving as the secretary of the chairman, has served as Vice Minister Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, President and Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua News Agency. Since the second half of the year, Grain Rain has been the confidential secretary of Hu Qiaomu. In these days, she will send news, comments and editorials written or revised by Mao Zedong to mimeographed in time. Mao Zedong likes to write on rice paper with a brush or pencil. Grain Rain didn't want to give Mao Zedong's manuscript to mimeograph, but he always sent it after copying and stayed. Ancient jade preserved a large number of Mao Zedong's manuscripts. After liberation, she handed these carefully preserved manuscripts to the Central Archives. 1in July, 949, Mao Zedong moved into Zhongnanhai, and the Hu Qiaomu family moved in with him.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), in addition to the above-mentioned part-time jobs, Hu Qiaomu was appointed as the spokesman of the Central People's Government, director of the General Administration of Press, and concurrently served as the president of People's Daily, the central organ newspaper of China, shouldering the heavy responsibility of national news reporting, political propaganda and government spokesman. Grain Rain has always been a confidential secretary of Hu Qiaomu. 195 1 Deputy Director of the General Office of the Propaganda Department of the CPC, but mainly in charge of Hu's work.

Grain Rain has been working as a secretary beside Qiaomu for a long time, which is also very important, but with her personality, she still very much hopes to have the opportunity to work independently.

At the beginning of the first five-year plan of China's economic construction, at the end of 1952, Grain Rain was assigned to the Automobile Industry Administration of the First Ministry of Machinery Industry as the deputy director of the preparatory office of Beijing Automobile Assembly Plant (No.752 Plant) and Tan Li as the director. Later, due to the state's decision to build the first automobile factory in Changchun, the construction of the 752 factory was stopped, and Tan Li was transferred to Changchun. Grain Rain continued to be responsible for the preparation of the Beiqi Parts Factory. The task of this factory is to provide accessories for Changchun No.1 Automobile Factory and Luoyang No.1 Tractor Factory.

Grain Rain started from scratch with only one assistant of the Propaganda Department of the CPC. After his arrival, he immediately set up a team and transferred technical backbone. 1953 in the first quarter, the preparatory group of Beijing Auto Accessories Factory was formally established and did a lot of work. 1March, 954, the factory broke ground in Chaoyang District, Beijing. In September, with the approval of the Automobile Bureau of the First Machinery Department, Beijing Auto Parts Factory merged with Beijing Auto Accessories Factory and was named Beijing Auto Accessories No.1 Factory. Unfortunately, Grain Rain went home to rest at 5438+00 on June of the same year due to illness, and failed to carry out the construction work to the end. 1April, 956, the factory was completed and put into operation. 1In July, 958, it was renamed as Beijing Automobile Factory, producing cars and military light off-road vehicles. Those entrepreneurs in those days are now veterans and well-known experts in Beijing's automobile industry. When they recall that Grain Rain fought side by side with them and set up a factory on the ground, it is still fresh in their memory. They say that Grain Rain gives people the impression that wearing a pair of cloth shoes is as simple and kind as the Eighth Route Army and as approachable as a big sister. She is the head of the preparatory group, but people call her Director Gu. She is responsible for her work and has strong organizational skills. Let everyone do it and check for herself. She is familiar with the people in the city and the Ministry, and strives for support to make the preparatory work go smoothly. This is her first contact with industry.
