Development of Shuiche Town

The most famous scenery in Shuiche Town is Ziquejie. Ziquejie is a national AAAA tourist attraction, a national scenic spot, a national natural and cultural heritage and a national water conservancy scenic spot. May 20 13 became one of the first important agricultural cultural heritages in China. 20 14, 16 On September 6th, the 22nd International Irrigation and Drainage Congress and the 65th International Executive Council of the International Irrigation and Drainage Committee (ICID) were held in Gwangju, South Korea, and the irrigation project of Ziquejie Terrace in Xinhua was awarded a license and included in the first batch of world irrigation project heritage list.

With the discovery and excavation of 10,000 mu terraced fields in Ziquejie and the improvement of cultural taste, it is planned to apply for world cultural heritage protection, which is expected to surpass Longsheng terraced fields in Guangxi and Hani terraced fields in Yunnan. From Ziquejie, there are ancient cave sites; From Ziquejie, there are Xixi Zou Xulong and Zou Xinzao Martyrs Monuments in turn; To the northeast, there are Roche Folk Culture Village and Millennium Ancient Cinnamomum camphora downstairs. There is Baiqi Peak in the south, which is a Buddhist holy place shrouded in mist all the year round; To the east is the 700-year-old Yangjia Temple. There is also a leisure resort Gaozhou Hot Springs. At the same time, the waterwheel is mountainous and watery, and the forest coverage rate reaches 52%. There is a green Xixi River running through the town, forming a pattern that the town is between mountains and rivers, the water is in the city, and the mountains and rivers are integrated and naturally blended.

The official website of Zique World has been launched.

Successful application for world heritage

20 14, 16 On September 6th, 2006, at the 22nd International Irrigation and Drainage Congress and the 65th International Executive Council of ICID held in Gwangju, South Korea, Xinhua Irrigation Project was awarded the first batch of World Irrigation Project Heritage List, becoming the only world irrigation project heritage in Hunan Province. Feldspar terrace

Feldspar terraces are the most magnificent terraces in Zique, with the richest levels and the most beautiful shapes. The mountains are all over the beams, and the layers are stacked. Each layer is fine and delicate ripples, and each stack is as clean as scales. Looking closely at the criss-crossing buildings, looking up at the terraced fields neatly like climbing a ladder, overlooking the sparkling water, the ridges are winding like splash-ink landscape paintings.

Baishui Hua Ting

Baishui terraces are curved, concave or convex along the mountain, big or small, long or short, bright or dark, and some are stacked like a crescent moon until the sky; Some are like long snakes, rushing all over the mountain, winding ridges, winding and rhyming, as if looming under the brush of the gods, drawing into a changing arc.

Jinlong Hua Ting

From Shi 'ao to Yajizhai, there are 12 ridges in succession, with ups and downs and twists and turns. Thousands of acres of terraces dug on the ridge are called Jinlong terraces, and the effect is better from above.

Shifeng terrace

Looking down from Gong Ling Temple, the terraced fields in Shifeng are another scene. Terraces are coiled around the hills, just like stars holding the moon. If you continue to the west, you will reach Huangjiling, and then look back at the terraced fields in Shifeng. Its magnificent shape will make tourists even more amazed, and the 300-mu tribute grain field in Huangjiling, the terraced fields of Laozi and Zhuangzi, and the terraced fields of Longxiang extend infinitely along the mountain.

Yaorenchong

There is also a terraced field rushed by Yao people in the west. This is a village where Yao people live. Up to now, there are still two sites on the mountain: the Yao Stone House and the Rock-piled House. Yao people rushed to the two ridges of the terrace, forming a "concave" shape. The ridge at the western end extends from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, reaching more than 200 levels.
