Li Bai and the moon

Li Bai (70 1-762), the word Taibai, was a romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty and was praised as a "poetic immortal" by later generations. Li Bai has more than 1000 poems, among which Li Taibai's poems have been handed down from generation to generation.

The moon is a major theme in China's ancient poems, and there are moons in countless poets' poems. However, Li Bai's love for the moon is unparalleled. Of Li Bai's 1000 poems, more than 300 are about the moon.

When I was a child, the naive moon:

"I didn't know the moon when I was young, so I called it the white jade plate"-Gulang's trip to the moon

When you are full of passion and lofty sentiments:

"We both hold high our yearning for the distant place, and I want to go to the blue sky to embrace the bright moon" —— Uncle Shu Yun, a farewell school in Xielou, Xuanzhou

A bosom friend is hard to find, and when life is melancholy:

"Until, holding up my cup, I asked the bright moon to bring me my shadow and let us become three people". -"Drinking the Bright Moon Alone"

Half-life wandering, full of homesickness:

"Looking up, I found it was moonlight, sinking again, and I suddenly thought of home." -"Silent Night Thinking"

The moon is as beautiful as a mirror;

"The bright moon is like a mirror, and the sea clouds are like a palace" —— Farewell to Friends at Jingmen Ferry

The mountain was white when it came out, and the sea was bright when it was high. -"Looking at the Moon after Rain"

Beautiful and quiet moon:

The mountains are bright and the moon is white, and the night is quiet and relaxed. -"Six Poems of Mount Tai"? 》

The most affectionate moon:

Walking down the blue mountain in the evening, moonlight is my escort on my way home. -"A Kind Pillow and a Kind Bowl from the Lower Zhongnanshan to Hu Si"

The moon when the passionate hero:

"Oh, let a man with spirit take risks where he likes, and never point his golden cup at the moon empty!" -"into the wine"

The most elegant moon:

"Behind her closed window, why is she still waiting, looking at the glory of the autumn moon through the crystal glass?" . -"Jade Family"

The most emotional:

"Today, people don't see Gu Yue. This month, they took photos of the ancients." -"wine asks the moon"

Wang Guowei said: "All scenery words are love words." Li Bai grew up singing about the moon when he was young. Dance with the moon when you are passionate; Invite the bright moon to drink together when you are lonely and depressed; When I am homesick, the moon is the messenger who conveys my homesickness ... The moon inspired Li Bai's infinite creative inspiration, and Li Bai outlined a colorful moon world with romantic techniques and strange imagination.

In the world of the moon, Li Bai is therefore extraordinary, with a saint-like demeanor and an immortal figure. His poems are pure and bright as the moon, so they are called poetic immortals.

Li Bai loves the moon like a fool. He named his son "Moon Slave". It is precisely because Li Bai loves the moon that there is a legend among the people: Li Bai jumped into the river drunk with a stone pick to catch the moon.

One day, he drank 70% or 80% of the wine and vaguely saw the moon in the water with several black lines. He thought the river polluted the moon, so he took off his boots and jumped into the river with open arms to catch the moon. His jumping off a building left a sad legend for China's poetry circle. Li Bai really lives and dies with the moon.
