What is microphotography?

Macro photography refers to the optical ability of a camera to shoot an image as big as (1: 1) or slightly smaller than the actual object through the lens. For example, taking a flower with a diameter of 2 1.6mm can fill half the area of 35mm film (diagonal length is 43.3mm).

Optics is an important branch of physics. It is also a discipline related to optical engineering technology. In a narrow sense, optics is a science about light and vision. In the early days, optics was only used for things related to eyes and vision. Today, optics is a science that studies the generation, propagation, reception and display of electromagnetic radiation and the interaction with matter in a wide range from microwave, infrared, visible light and ultraviolet to X-ray and γ-ray, focusing on the range from infrared to ultraviolet. It is an important part of physics.
