Brief introduction of Lin Zongjian

Lin Zongjian, professor, doctoral supervisor, 1943. My ancestral home is Fuzhou, Fujian, and I graduated from Wuhan Institute of Surveying and Mapping on 1965. 1988 received a doctorate from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping. He used to be the vice president of Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping and the president of China Academy of Surveying and Mapping. 1992 was awarded "Young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions" and enjoyed special government allowance. He is also the vice chairman of China Image Graphics Society, the executive director of China Surveying and Mapping Society, the executive vice chairman of China Doctor Association, and a member of the academic committee of the State Key Laboratory of Surveying and Mapping Remote Sensing Information Engineering. He has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of photogrammetry and remote sensing for a long time, presided over a series of remote sensing course construction projects, and built a complete curriculum structure system of remote sensing and geographic information system, which played an important role in promoting talent training. Participated in the development of all-digital automatic mapping system and the elevation extraction project of SPOT image, and put forward a multi-information and multi-criteria image matching method, which solved the key problems and achieved great results. He presided over the overall technical design of the digital surveying and mapping technology system establishment project, and promoted the industrial technical transformation from traditional analog surveying and mapping to modern digital surveying and mapping nationwide. Created a new mode of production and application of 4D series products. The technical scheme and production process of dynamic monitoring of land use by remote sensing using SPOT satellite images are designed. A set of new technical methods for pre-disaster risk assessment, flood monitoring, forecasting and flood volume calculation, loss assessment and post-disaster reconstruction using 4D data are proposed and successfully implemented. A new production mode of updating 1: 50000 topographic map by grid method has been created, and some achievements have achieved remarkable industrial benefits. He has won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress, the first prize of national teaching achievement of colleges and universities of the State Education Commission, the second prize of national natural science and the first prize of scientific and technological progress of ministries and commissions, and won the title of model worker in the national education system.
