The sixth stop of "On the Road" is Xinjiang, and it is planned to cross the Duku Highway from Nalati Grassland to Kuqa within one day.

The actual route is to start from Xinyuan County and get on the Dooku Highway. Because of the heavy snow, we have to turn to the provincial road S32 1, go along the Kaidu River, then go to the national road 2 18 and stop at Hejing County. It is another story to experience the desert highway from the turntable in Hejing County.

Just before we set off for the Dooku Highway, someone at the management station advised us to return, saying that the snow on the mountain was heavy and unsafe. When I saw cars coming in and out, I thought, it's a pity to come all the way without taking Dooku's road. So we crustily skin of head and drove forward.

At first, it was fine. There is no snow on the road below the mountain. Occasionally, I can see flocks of sheep, cows and horses.

Because it is covered with snow, the mountains are particularly beautiful and the air is much fresher. I have never considered the possible dangers in the future.

The car drove all the way up the mountain along the Panshan Highway, and there was more and more snow on the road. It's beautiful in the Heavenly Palace. It won't snow for the time being. Let's enjoy the beautiful snow-capped mountains.

I don't know how many mountains I have climbed. I feel that there are mountains outside the mountains, which are getting higher and higher, and the snow on the road is getting more and more serious.

However, there are still some local cars running up the mountain, and I am also very brave. I regret that I didn't bring snow chains, so I must prepare snow chains when I go to Xinjiang, including Tibet and western Sichuan.

The farther you go, the harder it is to walk. There is snow and ice on the road. Some cars turned around and returned, and some cars slipped on the mountain road and could not move forward. When I met the driver in the picture above, he had no experience in driving in the snow. He tried to refuel, but the car still couldn't move. The car skidded badly and stopped in the middle of the road. The driver was sweating with anxiety, and the people next to him were also anxious. This requires snow driving skills. Driving in the snow must not be urgent, slow and slow. Under my guidance, the car began to move slowly, and I became a master. I am really worried about them. But I didn't consider my own safety, thinking that I could move on with experience and driving skills.

Until the truck driver stopped on the road and told me that there were several big sakanos ahead, and the snow was deep and advised me to return. What embarrasses me is that I can't move forward, I don't want to go back, and time doesn't allow me to go to Kuqa County. We had to go to Korla instead. It was reported that National Highway 2 18 was closed due to heavy snow, so we could not return to Hejing County or Korla.

Fortunately, a small beekeeper on the mountain watched us buy his honey, and after listening to my difficulties, he told me a way to Jingxian County. He often keeps bees all year round. The altitude on the road is a little high, close to 4 kilometers, and there may be snow, which may be the best way out of the snow-capped mountains. He suggested that I try.

Under the guidance of a small beekeeper, I got off the Duku Highway in Bayinbuluke Wetland Grassland and took the provincial road s32 1, which can bypass mountains and snow.

God won't let us down. The provincial road s32 1 is not ordinary beauty! I won't know until after. When I got off the Duku Highway, the snow stopped, only the mountains in the distance had snow.

Go straight along s32 1, the weather on the road is bad, and the highest altitude is more than 3000 meters. Fortunately, it didn't snow. It takes about two hours to get off the Dooku Highway. The road ahead is National Highway 2 18, and the road conditions are getting better and better.

With the decrease of altitude, the temperature rises a little. There are dozens of kilometers of downhill sections, and sheep begin to appear on the road. Within a few hours, I experienced great changes in winter and autumn.

Hejing county is a temporary stop. In the evening in Hejing County, when people are sleepy and tired, they will stay and rest, and then leave for Korla and luntai county tomorrow.
