Research on Antiquities by Giseppi Enli of the Shroud of Christ

In 1931, another photographer, Giuseppe Enley, was allowed to take pictures of the Holy Shroud again. The quality of his negatives was certainly much better than the one taken in 1898. After studying it, he said: "The images are definitely not the artist's handwriting. After enlarging the negatives as much as possible, there is no trace of paint in the cloth texture." Germany After studying the Holy Shroud, writer Banner said that if it was really the Shroud of Jesus Christ, the blood stains on it showed that his heart was still beating after he was taken off the cross. Because if his heart had stopped beating, his wounds would no longer bleed, and the blood that had already flowed from his body would have condensed before the body was wrapped in cloth. Banner believes that Christ was not crucified on the cross, nor was he stabbed in the waist and seriously injured to death. He said that by using photography to put the human body back together, he could prove that if a spear was pierced into the human body according to the position indicated on the shroud, the heart would not be damaged. Therefore, he believed that Jesus might have just lost consciousness and paused breathing on the cross, because he could not bear the torture and passed out due to excessive bleeding. As a result, several executioners thought Jesus was dead, so they had him untied and placed in the tomb. But after being buried, perhaps the aloe vera and ointment took effect, coupled with the coldness in the tomb, Christ woke up, resurrected in the presence of the disciples, and then ascended to heaven. Banner also paid special attention to the fact that the nail wounds shown on the shroud were on the wrists. He said this was enough to prove that the Shroud was real. If it is nailed to the palm, the weight of the body will tear both hands apart. Other medical experts who have studied photos of the Shroud have noticed that the muscles shown in the images are distorted. They say this happened because of the crucifixion.
