Differences and Relations between Ink Painting and Danqing

Difference: ink painting, that is, "ink painting", is a form of Chinese painting. Generally refers to paintings made of water and ink. The focal, thick, heavy, light and clear colors of ink produce rich changes, express objects and have unique artistic effects. Scarlet and cyan are commonly used in ancient paintings in China, so they are called "painters".

Danqing actually represents two colors commonly used in two kinds of paintings, namely red and cyan.

Dan (red) is made of cinnabar, and cyan (cyan) is made of indigo, both of which are mineral pigments.
