The behind-the-scenes tidbits of losing everything

This film is the second film directed by J. C. Chandor, who invited robert redford as the only actor in this film. Just because his first film was shown at Sundance Film Festival founded by Redford, they got to know each other and agreed on film cooperation. Robert redford is the only star in this film. There is no dialogue in the whole movie, only a few words to myself. Making this film made Redford suffer a lot. The first is the consumption of physical strength, the second is the difficulty of this one-man show, and there is the sea shooting. The film started shooting in the middle of 20 12 at Baja Studio in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. Although the crew prepared several body double and stuntmen for Redford, Redford completed most of the dangerous scenes by himself except one underwater scene. Radford's ear was injured while filming some tsunami scenes. In order to make Chen Duoer not worry too much about her health when filming, Redford didn't reveal it until the film was exhibited in Cannes.
