How to protect the camera in outdoor sports

Cameras and lenses are high-tech and high-precision items. Most cameras and lenses are afraid of falling, pressure, water and sand. These factors are common in outdoor sports. In order to have fun in outdoor sports, it is really necessary to take friendly photos.

If there are guides or porters in the queue during climbing or crossing, things will be much easier. Strong equipment such as tents, sleeping bags and damp-proof mats may be handed over to tour guides or porters for help, so that they can take pictures wholeheartedly and protect their photographic equipment.

It should be pointed out here that the camera bag of a donkey friend is different from that of an ordinary photographer. The camera bag of an ordinary photographer is mainly one shoulder, while the camera bag of a donkey friend is suitable for both shoulders.

Whether crossing, cross-country, mountain climbing or rock climbing, there is no smooth road for hikers, so backpacks are more conducive to the protection of equipment during the exercise.

For photographers who don't have the help of guides or porters during the journey, they might as well send some equipment to their friends on the same journey, such as furniture, damp-proof mats and other small pieces of equipment. Each person will be given a small piece, which will not increase a lot of weight, but will share a lot of burden for photographers.

Give up what one favours and streamline equipment.

If you don't have a guide or porter to help you, and you are embarrassed to disturb your fellow travelers during the trip, you can only work hard from your backpack and reluctantly give up what you have to do to streamline your equipment.

What needs to be pointed out here is that the equipment should be streamlined as much as possible, and the equipment necessary for travel should not be easily streamlined.

For example, camping in the wild, in addition to tents and sleeping bags, moisture-proof mats are also essential equipment and cannot be simplified; Cooking in the field, stoves and utensils are essential and cannot be simplified. If you want to work hard in this respect, you can only choose lighter stoves and knives, and give up bulky stoves and knives.

If the camera equipment is simplified, photographers might as well give up the heavy tripod. No tripod can be made up in other ways, such as using a tripod with others; Choose solid branches, slopes, etc. Holding the arm can reduce the jitter when shooting; Choose a lighter monopod and so on.

If you still need to give up, then consider it from the lens. Try to bring fewer lenses. You can inquire about the possible scenery according to the distance of the trip, and then arrange one or two most suitable shots according to your personal shooting needs.

Usually choose one or two practical lenses, such as a zoom lens of 24~ 120mm, or choose a wide-angle lens with a telephoto lens, which can basically ensure most of the shooting needs.

If you really can't bring heavy professional photographic equipment, you can only consider bringing a portable card-type digital camera, which is light and practical and will basically not increase the extra burden.
