History of frontier establishment

At the beginning of its publication, three names were nominated: Sidi, Pioneer and Frontier. However, considering that this publication is not only a propaganda position of the Youth League Committee of our school, but also a home for all students to exchange ideas, it not only conveys cutting-edge ideas and news to the Youth League Committee of Wuhan University, but also encourages students to innovate and forge ahead, providing a strong backing for continuous development.

At the time of publication, the embryonic form of the editorial department had only six members. Although they quit the editorial department now, they are all struggling in their own lives. Just like the precious character they left to the frontier fortress, it was also preserved as the tradition of "happiness in times of danger". From then on, we began to understand and cherish this valuable team spirit. From then on, Frontier was like a "frontier".

It is this profound team spirit that has supported Frontier from 2004 to today, overcoming many difficulties such as no office, computer and other hardware facilities, no complete editorial department, no experience in related publications, no business instructors and so on, making it the first phase of Frontier.

The inaugural issue, like a newborn, essentially marks the birth of the frontier. At the same time, it looks so simple, without distinctive style and cutting-edge content, and without flexible and vivid interviews. Everything about her is so vague, but it is on this vague basis that today's three major departments (thematic department, review department and literature department) and several small sections within each department are laid. Every newborn is the product of the mother's painstaking efforts. A group of young people like us may not be as selfless and wise as a mother. But there is no doubt that every issue of Frontier since its first issue embodies the hard work of frontier people and witnessed wonderful youth.

Everyone has experienced that growing up and jointing is really a painful and proud process.

In order to make Frontier more professional and exquisite, from cover typesetting to organization setting to publication audience positioning, frontier people concentrated their wisdom and enthusiasm and formulated detailed reform rules for Frontier. Of course, the frontier did not stop at the new reform. With the growth of publications and the changes of students' thoughts, Frontier has been constantly adapting to the new environment and making adjustments according to its own characteristics.

The pace of "frontier" will never stop, because with everyone's support, today's "frontier" has come into being, and because of everyone's support, the "frontier" can continue to move forward. The future of the frontier will always belong to the students of Wuhan Donghu College.

The frontier will grow with Wuhan Donghu College and students. What the frontier is doing now is to find and guide the quality of Wuhan Donghu College, to be a publication that truly represents the school, and to study, live and communicate with students.

"Frontier" will work hard with all the people who support her to create the outstanding spirit of Oriental Fen, and use our wisdom and blood together to give everyone a wonderful four-year college youth.
