How to mount the camera on a tripod

There is a small flat plate on the tripod where the camera is placed, called a gimbal. There is a small screw head on the front of the gimbal, and a handle to turn the screw on the back. There is a universal-sized screw hole at the bottom of the camera. Place the small screw head on the platform against the small screw hole in the camera base and rotate the screw handle on the back of the platform until it is tightened. Then the camera can be fixed to the platform.

Some pan/tilts can be disassembled (separate type), and some are fixed on a tripod (integrated type). The detachable head needs to be removed and tightened before being installed on the tripod to fix the camera to the tripod. The integrated head needs to be tightened directly to fix the camera to the tripod.
