The scale of Anshun Radio and TV University

Anshun Radio and TV University (hereinafter referred to as Anshun Radio and TV University) is a comprehensive open university with modern electronic information technology as the main means and multimedia as the means of distance education. Anshun Radio and TV University was founded in 1979. Since its establishment 24 years ago, it has fully implemented the education policy of the party and the state, closely focused on the economic development and social progress of Anshun City, and cultivated high-quality talents. As of May 2004, * * * has trained 1 1000 college graduates, one in every 250 people in Anshun. Anshun Radio and TV University has developed in the reform and improved in the development, and has gradually become an important talent training base in central Guizhou.

Anshun Radio and TV University has four county-level workstations and five teaching points. In 2004, there were 2 12 full-time and part-time teachers, 1 12 full-time teachers with associate professors or above, and 4/kloc-0 lecturers in the whole system. The teaching room is 2 1000 square meters, and there are 5 ground satellite receiving stations. The teaching equipment is worth more than 2.8 million yuan, and there are more than 38,000 books and materials. There are advanced modern distance education facilities such as electronic reading room, network classroom, voice classroom, live classroom, multimedia classroom, two-way video interactive learning system, ground satellite receiving center, database and courseware making room. There are 42 majors in science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, literature, politics and law, foreign languages and normal universities.

As of May 2004, Anshun Radio and TV University had more than 2,000 students, whose majors included computer, law, accounting, medical care, administration and business administration.

With the implementation of Anshun's strategy of strengthening the country with talents and rejuvenating the country through science and technology, Anshun Radio and TV University will gradually invest more than 20 million yuan in 2003, acquire 50 mu of land, and build a modern distance education center radiating the urban and rural areas of the city, so that the number of students in Anshun Radio and TV University will reach more than 3,000.
