Design intent
Although children are already familiar with fruits, few people pay attention to the internal shape of fruits. What are the transverse and longitudinal sections of apples? What is the cross section of a pear? Therefore, this scientific activity was carried out to let children cut the fruit by themselves, discover the secrets in the fruit and understand the internal outline and pattern of the fruit. On the one hand, cultivate children's careful observation and comparison and dare to explore; On the other hand, improve children's hands-on operation ability. Let children be inspired and educated in life.

2. Ask children to speak boldly and express their thoughts.
Teacher: I'll let you guess. What fruit are these beautiful patterns cut out of?
Second, observe the fruit part.
Teacher: I found that one of the children's pictures is a little inconsistent. Some say that the picture of me being fat is the cut surface of this fruit, while others say that it is the cut surface of which fruit. What kind of fruit is it? Do it, I believe the answer will come out!
1. The teacher took out apples, pears and kiwis and cut out cross sections to verify the children's guesses.
Teacher: Did you find the answer? The cross section of these fruits is like this. If I cut this fruit vertically, will it be the same as I just cut the pig? Let's try it together!
2. The teacher cut the straight section of the fruit, put the cross section and the straight section in front of the children and guide them to compare.
Teacher: What do you think of the fruit cut from this cross section? What does the fruit cut from the straight section look like?
Third, use books.
