Towers, chimneys and Gobi form a strange combination.

This border gate tower with a history of thousands of years relies on a newly developed steel city with a history of only 50 years.

Jiayuguan is a real "Gobi Steel City".

1955 420 million tons of iron ore was discovered near Jiayuguan, which was so big that it was necessary to build a steel plant and named jiuquan iron and steel.

This Great Wall is not as good as the Ming Great Wall I saw in Shanxi, where there are only mounds left by the wind.

Sunflower is also a specialty of Jiayuguan area, and its seed industry is developed. Most of their income comes from this sunflower.

Sunflowers like sunny and dry places. It has never rained in the northwest these days.

Sometimes I feel that when traveling, I don't have to go to a certain scenic spot to punch in.

In just one morning, although I didn't climb the Xiongguan Tower,

But I also appreciate the vastness of the Gobi desert, the magic of the towering Qilian Mountains and the Great Wall.

I photographed local people harvesting sunflowers and had a simple and interesting conversation with local taxi drivers.

So I rolled here by bus.

This market is located in the old city, simple and messy, but full of fireworks.

The tall and crude iron shed can shelter from the wind and rain and stop the noise.

The melon seeds in Jiayuguan are really good, with large particles. Bought 5 Jin as a snack.

Of course, there are not only whole grains in the market, but also dry goods in the north and south and department stores and clothing.

There are also shoe repairers in the market, and there are stalls in shops and shops.

This reminds me of Yiwu commodity market in 1990s.

On the edge of the market, across the street, there is a food city, which seems to be parasitic with the market.

The food city is also simple enough, with large stainless steel doors and windows, like a temporary sunny glass shed.

1. There is a through train (k594) from Hangzhou to Jiayuguan, and the hard sleeper is 549.5 yuan.

2. From Jiayuguan to Zhangye, you can take the bullet train, the ticket is 65.5 yuan, and the time is 1 hour 28 minutes.

However, the bullet train is going to Jiayuguan South, and the station is Zhangye West. Both stations are far away.

One to two, it may not be as fast as taking an ordinary train.

The hard seat of the ordinary train is 37.5 yuan, and the time is 2 hours and 36 minutes.

Bus: Take Bus No.4 and No.6 in the urban area and get off at Guancheng Scenic Area, which takes about 20 minutes. When you return to the city, the bus stop is just south of the main entrance. Out of the front door, go to the road. Turn right and go ahead.
