Split shot painting techniques

We learned storyboarding last semester, and we went through a lot of trouble when we were painting. I gave a few lectures at that time, showed two movies "Beautiful Mind" and "Walking in the Clouds", and then painted it by myself. ~~~

If you don’t have a clue how to write, I will write some methods taught by the teacher.

1. Animation lenses are divided into fixed lenses and moving lenses

Fixed lenses are good for expressing large scenes such as distance and distance, and can truly record the movement speed and rhythm changes of the subject. The length is generally 7 to 8 seconds for panorama, 4 to 5 seconds for medium shot, 2.5 to 3 seconds for close shot, and 1 to 1.5 seconds for close-up.

Movement lenses are useful for pushing, pulling, panning, moving, following, rotating, and comprehensive.

2. Also pay attention to composition, perspective and scenery.

Note: The angles and postures of the shots should be drawn. The postures drawn should be representative, expressions, movements, positions, angles, and entry and exit directions. Draw the background, the position of the combination of characters, day and night, with or without foreground, ceiling, and the structure of each object.

The composition of cartoons must have a sense of the theme of observation, and the three-quarter shot is a common form.

It is necessary to be axially symmetrical and ensure that the characters are facing forward and backward uniformly, which is the basic rule of film and television animation picture composition.

3. Montage: the combination of lenses and lenses.

The jumping and connection methods of the lens include action connection, line of sight connection, sound connection, special effects connection (dissolve, flash white, fade in, fade out), entry and exit picture connection, and empty mirror connection.

There is also a basic law of movement following movement and stillness following stillness.

There are still some words that haven’t been typed, so I’ve summarized what I think is more important. With the changes in lenses and camera positions, if the connections are reasonable, the storyboards will look more comfortable, yes. Yes, you should also write down the shot number, action prompts, special effects, dialogue, sound effects, time, and lighting on the sub-shots~ Watch more classic movies and cartoons on a daily basis, and watch them a few times, which will make a big difference. Work hard at painting~
