Lighting skills of indoor real-life shooting in Korean wedding photography

The style of Korean wedding photos is fresh and elegant, which makes people relax physically and mentally. 20 14 years ago was very popular, but it was quickly replaced by experiential photography. Life scenes, warm atmosphere and happiness are the focus of the sample photo creators and the main features of Korean wedding photos. The following are the lighting techniques for indoor live shooting of Korean wedding photography that I brought to you. Welcome to reading.

Korean wedding photos are mainly divided into two types:

1, the composition is rigorous, the picture is fresh and beautiful, and classic traditional wedding photos are used;

2, close to life, romantic and warm plot wedding photos.

The main sweet elements of Korean wedding photos

Petals, stairs, mirrors, kisses, hugs, pianos, blackboards, hand-painted walls, windows, retro cameras. The seemingly ordinary wedding elements can maximize the sweetness of the couple.

The essence of Korean wedding photos

Korean wedding photos are solemn, soft and concise.

Lighting: the use of light and the depiction of the charm of characters are particularly particular, paying attention to the essence, spirit and verve of characters, with exquisite pictures, paying attention to the spirit of characters, with exquisite and durable pictures. Generally, multi-lamp lighting is used. But also emphasizes the brightness of the face and the outline of the character, emphasizing the three-dimensional sense of the character modeling and the sense of space in the picture.

Background props: Korean wedding photos are often set on tie-dyed cloth or wallpaper with gradual color changes and elegant patterns, and are often matched with warm home style props such as flowers, vases and photo frames.

Tone tone: Generally, there are two kinds of tones: treble and bass. The high-profile image is mainly white, and the low-profile image is mainly brown.

Today, I mainly talk about the use of Korean wedding photos. Korean wedding photos pay special attention to the use of light and the portrayal of character charm. Generally, lighting is used to match the light, emphasizing the brightness of the face and the outline of the character, emphasizing the three-dimensional sense of the character modeling and the sense of space in the picture.

Most indoor scenes are shot with large aperture, soft backlight and scattered light. The Korean-style real-life sheds in most photo studios are built with penetrating scenes. Scenes are interrelated and run through each other, and they can also borrow scenes from each other to increase the perspective of the picture. This structure gives photographers a lot of creative space. Let me introduce several typical lighting techniques that penetrate real scenes, flower walls and corridors.

First, penetrate the real scene.

This layout is a common penetrating real scene in the studio. Let me give you an example to analyze how to make a suit produce more visual ups and downs through the change of light in different local scenes.

1. Location: Scene 1

There are two large French windows in the scene 1, so these windows are used to create a large area of scattered light as the main light source of the character.

At the same time, two naked lights are used, which are placed in the floor-to-ceiling windows respectively, which reduces the brightness of the naked lights. You can shoot with a large aperture, so that the dark parts of the characters can be fully filled with light.

Put a reflector on the backlight surface of the character to make the light ratio between the character and the scene softer.

After taking a few photos, in order to make the same scene have some visual changes, I placed a naked lamp outside the first scene, and the light passed through the door and left a shadow on the wall of the first scene.

Let the characters leave the wall for a certain distance, and separate the characters from the scenery through a large aperture to increase the layering of the picture.

2. Shooting location: in the middle of the aisle between scene 1 and scene 2.

After shooting scene 1, let the character stand in the middle of the aisle between scene 1 and scene 2.

Put a soft frame on the right side of the scene 1 and raise it to the highest point, and use the reflection of the wall to form a soft edge backlight on the character's face.

At the same time, a reflector is placed in front of the figure to make up the light (or not), and the exposure is determined according to the brightness of the backlight side of the figure's face, so that the background is overexposed and the diffused light effect is formed.

At this time, after the shooting of scene 1, the light level can remain unchanged, because this soft box can also be used to shoot scene 2.

3. Location: Scene 2

The characters sit down in front of the sofa in the second scene.

We just need to turn the flexible box placed in scene 1 to scene 2 and put a reflector on the dark side of the character to complete the lighting of this scene.

We can complete the shooting of scene 2 by shooting before and after virtual reality.

4. Location: Scene 3

In the shooting of the third scene, I added a soft box as a supplementary light for the scene and characters. The original flexible frame in the scene 1 changed the direction of light irradiation, and now it has become the contour light of the environment. The light from scene 1 to scene 3 also plays the role of environmental auxiliary light. After simple lighting application and change, we have embodied several different lighting effects in a suit.

Second, the real scene of the flower wall

Flower wall scene is also a representative kind of Korean real scene. Generally speaking, the flower wall scene is monotonous, because it has only one plane, unlike the penetrating real scene, which can have many shooting angles. We can change the shooting position by adjusting the height and angle to increase the visual fluctuation of the flower wall.

When shooting this group of photos, I took three postures: 90-degree head-up, 45-degree front low-angle reversing and front low-angle reversing, which made the slightly monotonous flower wall scene have different light effects and visual feelings.

1. First flight position: 90 degrees head-up.

There is a door in the middle. First, put a soft box behind the door. Let the character stand against the door, and create the side light of the character through the light refracted behind the door.

Then a continuous light source is placed near the flower wall on the left side of the figure as the main light, so that the residual light of the main light source shines on the background, which makes the flower wall more stereoscopic and also plays the role of background light. Two reflectors are placed on the right side of the figure as supplementary light.

2. The second position: 45-degree low-angle backhand.

The main light source is placed above the back of the figure, and a big gauze is added on the top of the figure, which not only filters the light to make it softer, but also shields the influence of the background on the gang, making the picture more concise. The use of low-angle backhand exaggerates the area of the veil, making it echo each other in color and area with the flower wall, better setting off the characters.

3. The third position: low-angle overhead shooting.

Let the figure stand against the flower wall, with continuous light as the main light source, put the continuous light behind the figure's side, add a reflector in front, and combine the flash in the background to create a contrast between cold and warm light.

This form of light distribution not only emphasizes the contour effect, but also allows the front reflector to reflect more light to the face of the character. The soft light effect is more in line with the female characteristics of Korean wedding dresses.

The shooting takes the flower wall as the foreground, and it is moderately blurred to increase the perspective of the picture.

Third, the gallery scene.

The corridor built by the corridor is also a typical Korean real-life style. Generally speaking, the small area, narrow shooting space and many doors and windows determine that there can be more light expression methods.

The corridor scene here has three windows, each with a naked light, which can be used to create outdoor lighting effects. Opposite the window are two doors with wooden lattice, and at both ends of the aisle are two glass doors. In the movie, I used three lighting techniques to shoot.

1. The first light effect: continuous light source, single lamp.

Directly use a continuous light as the main light source, put the continuous light outside the door, facing the window, and keep a certain distance from people. The purpose of this is to expand the irradiation area of the main light source and make the whole corridor area receive light more evenly. At the same time, a large reflector is placed on the right side of the character to fill the light.

The characteristic of this kind of light is that the single light effect produces obvious light-dark transition in the aisle environment. Because the main light source shines on people, it becomes the focus of the picture. Other areas of the corridor will also produce obvious layered texture.

Shooting at an ultra-low angle exaggerates the perspective of the promenade and brings the mural of the dome into the lens.

2. The second light effect: the dramatic projection of the hard naked lamp shape.

The main light replaced the original continuous light source with a naked light, and a naked light was placed outside the gate on the left side of the corridor. The purpose is to use this light to describe the scene outside the door, so that the corridor has a sense of space and perspective.

The main light source also keeps a certain distance from the main body, and through the irradiation effect of the hard light source, the wooden lattice shape on the gate is projected onto the corridor and the main body, resulting in a strong sense of drama.

Flash and slow shutter are used when shooting, which makes the dome chandelier and wall lamp more beautiful and the atmosphere more intense.

3. The third light effect: natural light effect

Directly use the light source of the window to shoot, and place two reflectors on both sides of the figure to make up the light.

A naked lamp is placed at the left end of the aisle to make the clothes and outlines of the characters more layered.

The wooden door opposite the window is half-hidden, and the lens is shot through the crack of the door to increase the mystery of the picture.

Tips: the main points of Korean wedding photography

1. Background: Wallpapers or tie-dyed fabrics with gradual color changes and elegant patterns are often used as the background of classic styles, such as brown, brown and lavender. The natural style mostly adopts the living background or the digital background imitating the location, and the background color is brighter.

2, posture: in the elegant, introverted static beauty, you can add a little elegant action, such as letting your hair and skirt swing.

3, makeup: Korean makeup is natural and exquisite, it is best to have a uniform makeup color, and the makeup should not be too strong. The base makeup can be decorated with three similar foundation colors to create a three-dimensional smiling face. The characteristics of Korean modeling are mainly reflected in the head modeling, which mostly adopts the methods of hanging, twisting and braiding, and also often adopts a wide-wrapped hair with a crown or a hairpin with bangs or a large flower headdress.

4. Tone: There are two colors in the general picture: high-key and low-key. The high-profile image is mainly white, and the low-profile image is mainly brown.

5. Clothing: generally choose Korean wedding dress (with good drape and smooth lines), Korean fashion (with fresh colors and simple styles) or ancient court hanbok (exquisite and elegant). The main characteristics of traditional Korean wedding dress are special waist, tight chest and natural sagging of chest, which is suitable for covering up women's body defects. The Korean wedding fabric favored by the studio is luxurious, and the wedding dress is inlaid with pearls and diamonds, but the style is not complicated, and it is best to have a long tail.
