Miniature landscape shooting skills

Do you think the photos of miniature landscapes are very interesting, but you don't know how to take miniature landscapes? Let's take a look at the miniature landscape shooting skills.

One: high angle

It is important to find a suitable commanding height. Because if the angle is not high enough, on the one hand, the scenery covered is not enough, on the other hand, we often look at the model from a bird's eye view. In order to make people look like models, it is a good choice to find a good-looking high angle, whether it is commercial glass or the roof of an old building.

Two: Go a little further.

Don't get too close to the target scenery and buildings you want to shoot. In addition to the small model, we should also consider the depth of field. Because the small model effect must have a very shallow depth of field, of course, we don't want our goals to be blurred, so stand far away and look at more points, and highlight the subject with a shallow depth of field.

Three: high saturation

Many small model effect photos have high saturation, which makes the picture more colorful, fuller and more fairy tale. Nowadays, many digital cameras have built-in saturation adjustment function. If you can't find it, adjusting the picture style to landscape and bright colors has a similar function.

Four: urban themes are easier to capture.

It is easier to find themes suitable for small models in cities than in suburbs. Such as government buildings, city landmarks, docks, airports, highways, railway stations and so on. , are quite suitable for small model effect photography. In addition, if you want to shoot the suburbs, you can also try to shoot places with cultural traces, such as mountain huts and hiking trails, which can make the picture more model-like.

Five: Use a tripod

If there is enough sunshine, you can actually hold the camera. However, it is still recommended to use a tripod, because it will be much safer to install the camera on a tripod when doing TILL/SHIFT operation. You can also slowly adjust the desired angle and depth of field by hand.
