Is Shanghai World Skills Museum free? Free opening hours.
The World Skills Museum is located in Yangpu Riverside, formerly known as Yong 'an stackhouse, a century-old historical and cultural protection building. During the renovation, the museum kept the octagonal prism, walls and ceiling of Yong 'an stackhouse, and adhered to the principle of "repairing the old as the old".
The World Skills Pavilion takes "small movements and big changes" as the theme, focusing on the collaborative innovation of "hand, brain and heart". The museum has six core exhibition areas, with 39 member countries and regions from five continents of the World Skills Organization and more than 2,000 precious skills-related collections provided by global partners. After the opening ceremony, it is expected that more than 800 exhibits will be exhibited first.
From traditional skills to high-tech, from world skills stories to China Skills Gallery, the audience can learn about the past, present and future of world skills in one stop, and truly feel the great impetus of skills innovation to the progress of human civilization, especially the fruitful achievements of China's pioneering and innovative skills.
